Nanite Control Facility never stops scanning
Having an issue where the facility will always stop and restart and takes years to finish any blocks. It will reach 100%, with applicable targets then reset to 0 with 0 targets and scan the whole structure again. It takes about 5 minutes for it to scan the entire structure, builds one line of blocks and restarts. How do I fix this?

sady no, the nanites have spent almost 3 days building 1 small ship with over 40MW over the required power and all of the resources needed and 3 fully upgraded assemblers to make the parts, sad to say this addon isnt efficient, its using more than 200MW power and doing barely any work so i'll just build a large welding factory for my ships, this addon used to be amazing but clearly has fallen behind.

Scanning process is really toooooo slow. Takes a long time to scan some big stations or ships.

I am reading that you fixed the scanning issue but all my ore detector and factory do is scan never does any work. the one time i did see nanites running around they didn't build anything. do I need to change something on my inventory management script for them to get parts and use the assembler?

I understand the need for the factory to constantly rescan and update blocks. However, it seems to lose all targets and stop working while it does this, which results in long periods of time that it is not doing anything. I was also wondering, I host a server that is always up, does the factory continue to work when no one is in the area or on server because when I get on it is just starting up.

Regarding the scanning thing: Looks to me (as a complete layman in that respect) like an overlapping problem. If too many Control Factories are set up they will scan and scan and scan w/o actually doing anything...
For constructing I usually go with only one NCF and up to 5 for mining, if I have no immediate constructions. Doesn't really matter what the checkboxes are set to, even with only Mining active, they will also target unfinished blocks.

Still love the mod, though. Takes away soo much of the tedious welding, especially when building large bases.

it's 7/26 and this is still a problem. I have a small grid with an area beacon, a repair beacon on my grid and the control station keeps resetting progress.

i got it fixe by just adding more power to the grid

I actually got it working but I had to run alot of power, sometimes it seems to hang and I have to reload the save to get it working again. I will just use it to build small grid items and shut it down when it is done. I really like the idea of the mod just costly to run

I have a problem when there are 72,000 blocks around and the scan takes a long time. I have a lot of energy.
