Nerf Brand

@Bazinga Boy That isn't much of a suggestion.... Also, its a key part of the kit that 1.) doesn't work on bosses/enemy Gravewalkers 2.) Is a one off on any characters it does work on and 3.) they can randomly be immune to it from the start of combat.

It has counters but is designed to be good since its a key part of the character. Also, the Vitality boost is in the mod largely due to this as well.

@Bazinga Boy I have nerfed the duration back down to 3 turns, hopefully that helps.

@Bazinga Boy No problem!

I think Brand should be nerfed such that you dont get to control the person you brand. and incresse the cooldown to be probably 5 turns.
I think it should work similar to Charm. As is, i would say it is way too powerful with what it offers. Especially on a two turn cool down.

are you intended to cheese the first nazgul fight? i dont see a way to realistically beat that nazgul if thats the stats for all difficulties or even close to it. over 1000 effective HP unbuffed for physical OR magic damage. immunity to all status effects. 5 talents. it just seems a bit much to be taken legitimately unless im seriously overlooking a major part of the mod for the gravewalker class.

i tried everything from high ground speccing with the bow to running to obscuring vision and he just two turned me every time. i ended up cheesing him by teleporting him in front of the shrieker which feels like thats how youre intended to fight him.
Malchezzar  [developer] Jan 9, 2020 @ 3:50am
@IconianCat No you arent required to cheese him, depends on party composition but at the very least it requires reordering your fights in act 1 to hit him later on. He does alot of damage early so losses in the first few turns are kinda expected for large parties. I run alot of different difficulty enhancing mods myself on tactician and -50% exp amd Ive never been unable to clear him. If you are fighting him solo though then it might be pretty tough.

yeah im doing a true lone wolf gravewalker so its 1 on 1. next time i run through the mod ill probably do a two character lone wolf gravewalker/galadriel run tho.

good to know though cheese isnt required for future runs however
Malchezzar  [developer] Jan 9, 2020 @ 7:06am
@IconianCat yea that one is probably the sharpest difficulty spike of the encounters since it hits you earliest with a fairly big level gap. its also possible to sorta get the magisters in the area to help fight him as well, but the key thing I found that makes it easier is to just do that castle area almost last and clear the rest of the fights you can do before that to get close to him in level.

good to know. also on the topic of balance how is the unique item level scaling setting supposed to work..? in celebrimbors menu it says unique items will auto level so i expected stuff like migo's ring and the band of braccus to auto level but they havent leveled up at all. does it only apply to items added in the mod?
Malchezzar  [developer] Jan 9, 2020 @ 7:32am
@IconianCat the Unique auto leveling is specifically for the items that are added via this mod (The Brightlord's Sword, The Blade of Galadriel, etc). My other mod BonusUniques also has this setting (and many more items), so I'd check that out if you want more items that auto level.

I think Shadow Strike is too omnipotent.... This skill terribly enhances the flexibility and reaping ability of Gravewalker ,
I suggest that ,you could choose one change following——
1.lengthen CD into 3 turns
2.increase the cost,Add 1ap or 1sp?
3.increase the memory requirement into 2
4.increase the consumption of elf-shot into 2 .
I think this maybe the most reasonable cut, which can preserve the original design and undermine Shadow Strike a bit.

so if you do the "start a fight on the boat and have wendigo kill everyone" strat, your party members can get permanent anti-stealth/terrified. which is A:super distracting to see a party member enveloped in shadows, and B maybe a bit bad?

also why is Calibrimbor in a place where you have to decide to fight Dallas or have a party member be a gravewalker?
Malchezzar  [developer] Jun 17, 2020 @ 7:53am
@ZexxCrine they can get the buffs as AI, but they should lose them if they start another combat after you recruit them. If the AI buffs do not disappear, let me know because they should.
