Policy regarding retextures?
First just curious is this entire mod the work of one dude??

Anyhow, apologies if this has been asked a bajillion times- I went through 10 pages of the workshop page comments first and didn't find any though; What's your policy about retextures being done with assets from this mod? I checked out the license page on the 3CB site and it just said to contact ya.

I've been really wanting to start a retexture project using 3CB Factions & RHS, but I was told that your PBO's are locked up in a certain way intentionally to prevent people from messing with 'em, so I'm just wondering what the policy is for 3CB Factions is about that kinda thing? In the case that you *do* permit retextures, is there any means to access the original texture files of your assets? Thus far I've totally relied on being able to extract an assets original texture(s) to cut out and preserve details like headlights and other stuff that doesn't have to be altered

If it's a hard no, no worries just lemme know so I don't spend too much time thinkin about it lol, thanks!

Hello, thanks for your inquiry. No, the entire mod is not just my work. I have had help from a number of people in 3CB, especially for the functions and more complex vehicle assets, plus donations from outside 3CB. The vast majority of it is my own work though.

Yes we do allow retextures with 3CB Factions as a dependency. The majority of all assets in the pack are set up for hidden selection textures. The arma 2 assets ported across mostly use the same arma 2 textures that can be found in the arma 2 samples so the original textures can be accessed from there.
