Report a translation problem
If you are playing with a Zeus, I'd be interested to know what happens if you place the unit when already in game, go into its Virtual Garage, and then select the new texture then. It might stay in place as the game and server-side texture function will already be running - meaning the new texture you selected in the Virtual Garage should appear to everyone on the server. It might be a work around for now.
In the description.ext you can use the line
This disables randomization, but you have to edit the vehicle beforehand as for some reason it prevents vehicles from being editted in the garage.
Maybe you can create a module for disable the randomization
