My game is a bit heavy on the mods, but this has never happened thus far. Sometimes, the game won't even boot up, at others, it would get to the Mega Crit screen only to crash immediately after. It would initially at least keep the Java window open, allowing me to see that one random .png or whatever is missing, as well as over a dozen rows of something resutling from a bad logic bug or somesuch. This only occurs when trying to run the game with Downfall, with the only other mod causing similar issues being The Jungle, occasionally.
The furthest in it's gotten is letting me poke arouind the COmpendium and the character select screen, where trying to embark with a character or to check out the card collection leads to an insta-crash back to Steam.
