The Known Issues list does not record smaller, easier to fix issues as we try to address those quickly.

Started up the mod as slime boss, and fought all the way to Neow. Upon defeating Neow, I didn't unlock the second playable character.

Oh hey, this is exactly my situation. I used to have the slimebound mod and the guardian mod. I had already unlocked everything on the slimebound, but I was missing 1 unlock on the guardian. I ended getting that last unlock in downfall. Never used the playable snecko mod, and all snecko cards are unlocked.

But not really? The darkling trio card is not unlocked in my card library, and yet I got it in a run. Could it be possible that cards staying locked is just some kind of UI bug?

Could be. I haven't seen the Darkling card yet on the Slime Boss, just the Snecko. But I haven't played that many games yet, so it's possible it just hasn't shown up yet.


I also just noticed that the I don't see the skin change buttons for the Slime Boss. The other three characters have them.

'allowing standard characters to play downfall run' will not unlock standard/villans at alternate runs if StS rebooted.

You unlock the alternate art when you beat the heart with that class.

I also had the slimebound mod in the past fully unlocked but I got the darkling trio card and am only missing 2 common cards that are locked on my slimeboss. I'm wondering if it has to do with multiple unlocks at the same time? Either way I haven't been playing the mod much until I see what's happening with unlocks. I want some way to make sure I have all the cards unlocked or to unlock them all.

choosing which room to go to in downfall mode is broken on controllers. selector is stuck at the bottom. have to switch to mouse to select room

Just got the Darkling card on a run from an event in Act 3. It remains locked in the Compendium. Maybe that's what happened to you as well?

Oops, not a bug after all! I went ahead and beat the heart with the Slime Boss, and the alternate art was unlocked correctly.

I Judged the defect on act 3 and he just became immortal, couldn't target him no more but he still attacked me.

Potential bug with the Guardian on unlocking the 4th boss. Collected & broken all 3 pieces, but defeated Act III without proceeding to Act 4. I've cleared Act 4 with the other 3 characters.

Did you also defeat the merchant? That's required to unlock Act 4.

Excuse me, guys. I played the Standard Mode with the Boss character (Hexaghost) but then i can't click on the Heart Boss, i can't get into the room and start a battle with the Heart. Is this a general issue or is it because i have some gameplay mod on ? (my most notable mod is Hubris, Infinite Spire, Minty Spire, Replay the Spire, Gensokyo Act and Lobotomy. Then some character class mod).

Or is this because im playing using the Alternate skin ?

Did you kill the merchant, collect all three keys, and break all three keys? There are more conditions to reaching A4 in downfall than in the base game, and one of my only small criticisms of this mod is that that's not made very clear.

Also, actual bug report, or at least probably something that isn't intentional and needs changing: It's possible for the Act 3 super elite to spawn in a place where there are no campfires behind it, making it impossible to reach Act 4 if you choose to kill the super in Act 3.

Not catastrophic I suppose, since you can kill it in Acts 1 or 2, but I doubt that was the goal.

Im sorry, i may have not explained my problem with Act 4 Boss correctly.

My problem currently is when im running the Base game run (non-Downfall) with the boss characters from Downfall via the option in the mod config. Im unable to access the Base game Act 4 Boss, I managed to kill the Spire Spear and the Spire Shield but i cannot click on the Heart in order to advance into the Heart boss fight.

Is this a general issue or is this a compatibility issue due to my mods ?

Had a softlock on the Act 4 boss where they got stuck during their returning animation and became untargetable. More information and picture evidence here: https://imgur.com/a/sjC9AOt.

Other things to note:
Snecko
- Cheat does not account for number of rolls on Rain of Dice (should always hit 4/5 times if going by the description on cheat)
- Cheat does not always account for STR or DEX when calculating max damage or block (assumed that it goes off the base card value).
- If an effect reduces a card's cost temporarily (i.e. Quick Study) then the card is still considered at its highest cost value and thus can be targeted by Muddle effects that work according to the highest cost card)

Relics
- The Bandit contract will assume that 1 Artifact can block all of the status effects that happen during the animation (best seen by Act 3 Silent starting with 1 Artifact)
- Idol of Retromation permanently reduces card cost instead of for the turn as its description states.

Boss Intents
- Enemy intents are kind of wacky on the bosses. Cards which work off number of orbs on Defect don't calculate correctly (i.e. Barrage), sometimes Shiv damage isn't calculated correctly for the Silent (Biggest perpetrator being the Cloak and Dagger card), Ironclad doesn't account for block gained during his turn when calculating Body Slam damage etc.
I guess you could say that you need to pay more attention to the cards being played by the boss but it's still odd.

Humorously as well, if you fight a boss in the Arena Event in Act 2 they still may show up as the Act 3 boss, presumably they speed ran the Spire to get another shot at the Villain/Heart.
