Downfall Bug Reports (version 1.0.25+)
Post your bugs here! Downfall is maintained by a group of developers, so hopefully we can address issues with the new expansion quickly.

Please see the Known Issues thread regarding compatibility with other mods, and the longer running general Known Issues list for things that have been reported but will take longer to solve.

The Known Issues list does not record smaller, easier to fix issues as we try to address those quickly.

Playing as Hexaghost and fighting Neow. During the first minion, Soulburn sitting at 1 will continue to proc on Neow and not be removed. When killing the first minion with Soulburn, God of Life ticks down to 1 from 3 and the end cutscene music starts to play. Killing the 2nd minion results in the game crashing to desktop.

Old Beggar event search/replace typo - "blue humanoid form with a soulsen helm"

Fighting the act 4 boss and playing the card to remove all active orbs when that boss is not in the field soft locks the game. Restarting the battle and then proceeding to play a lot of cards causes a null pointer exception as Hexaghost.

These are all now fixed. Also potentially fixed the heart portal background being offset in non 16:9 resolutions, but I don't have a great way of testing that without an ultrawide monitor.

Funnily enough I achieved this glitch or exploit while playing Snecko, not Hexaghost.

If one activates 6/6 seals, any seal cards played after will give the broken seal relic allowing for duplication.

During the final fight on chapter 4, upon defeating a summoned Defect, the remove orb cards stayed on my hand after defeating it. Naturally still having them made me want to use and exhaust them as I had a pretty hand heavy deck. Upon targetting Neow, the game softlocked as the card stayed there waiting to proc, I imagine the lack of orbs on Neow caused some issues. Tried to screenshot but forgot to do it thru Steam and the regular screenshot key didn't save anything

Whenever i try to load up into a run as soon as the screen goes black to load and you first hear Neows voice line it closes out and i get this

I've tried numerous different ways to try to get the mods to work but nothing works. It's not even working with no other mods except the essential ones running.

Can't say for certain if this was fixed, but an attempt was made. It's odd that it can't load the heart's mask, but we made a change that may help.

These are fixed in tonight's update. Along with a rework to a few Guardian cards, and a buff to Slime Boss's starter relic.

It still crashes consistently when you try to switch profiles with Downfall loaded.

Just started the 2nd character run on a custom playthrough for flight. Went into a ? mark area and it crashed. I am pretty sure it was the Dio mod. Playing another one now without Dio mod and I will update

It has also crashed for me when I enter a rest area. Doesn't even give a crash report.

Burn counter not ticking down its turn counter on Ironclad fight Act 1 (playing as Hexaghost). Will update as run continues if issue still occurs in other Acts.

Did two runs in a row with Hexaghost, both of them failed versus the Defect at act 1. For an unknown reason, soulburn timer doesn't go down (stuck at 3) and thus never procs if not forced (which I couldn't with my cards). Seemed fine when I fight one of the other three.

Only mod active beside the mod loader and stdlib is Downfall.

The sear tick bug was consistent upon restart and happened in all Act bosses (I fought Ironclad, Watcher, and Silent in order) as well as the Act 4 merchant miniboss. Ticking worked fine during the entirety of the Neow fight including his summons.

A few extra bugs to note:

Heart art did not spawn in when entering shop.

Broken seal duplication glitch still works. Upon playing a 2nd fifth seal a couple turns later, I was given a 2nd broken seal.

Not sure if I'm having the same problem. Crashing to desktop after moving to a spot on the map. If I try to open the save it immediately crashes again. No warnings or pop-ups.
