A better default focus tree so AI can get claims on things around it. If this is going to be a random world generator that will work. if its gonna be the same map every time, then there should be custom focus trees... (maybe only a few if its too much)
Maybe adding some straits/canals like gibraltar, suez or panama, to make some countries more important. Oh and adding maybe two or three factions at the beginning could be pretty neat, like at least a fascist league and a democratic union (and possibly a communist international ?) to add more flavor (and a world war two :D)

perhaps reducing the amount of nations in the map would be a good start ???

adding a few cores for different countries may be a good idea and id like to maybe see a civil war over one of the nations either from the get go like when you play as ISIS in the millenium dawn or the washington brotherhood in OWB mod or from fairly early on in the game like the spannish civil war in vanilla it adds abit of early game world tension and theres a chance to make abit of lore about it

all Countries should start as non-aligned so you will never know where your allies or enemies will be . If this map is made for Multiplayer then must be balanced . Fascist can change they economy law much quicker than Democratic so its not fair in MP .
i wish all countries start equal with Factories , Tech , Manpower and Resources

Hey guys, thanks for your suggestions. I'll start compiling a list of suggestions and how often they are suggested so it can influence my priorities a bit. There are some glaring issues that get mentioned a lot, but it never hurts to have reminders!

the new update is good. a small thing that would be good is making names for cities and states and implementing them also adding more infastructure to the states because my god trying to supply an army of the size that most nations start off with is torture and with few civi factories itll be more torture to get up to a level of none drag

Hey, yeah, the way the math works out right now most states have too much population and not enough infrastructure. I definitely want some areas of the world to still be hellish to traverse but right now it's a little overkill. states will be numbered for awhile because it's very easy for someone to let me know if there is a problem if all they have to remember is a number, but eventually we'll get the names in.

I propose that you start all the nations off with about 50 army experience so they can customize their divisions imediately

I really like this idea, I think it would both enhance the strategic value of the geography of the map, and change the way you think about declaring war on nations, especially wars that will require a navy.

Maybe actually giving countries starting tech, especially in the naval area. Could be interesting, and make wars funner/harder.

some nations having more tech than others could make it interesting like in vanilla how the Germans get light tanks 2 from the get go in vanilla it may not be balanced but if everythings balanced itll get boring

real world isn't balanced, and if you look at the base game, it reflect that. I mean, the tibet doesn't stand a chance against even british raj, and it's not a problem ;)
