You know I would love to update it. I've been thinking about it. The fact that people still comment on here and they always say kind things or are just sad that it isn't updated really warms my heart. I'm so glad many of you found this little experiment of mine enjoyable.

I need someone who can assist creating a map for a fictional planet mod for this game. I want to convert a 25 year old play by mail wargame that i used to run to HOI IV. HOI IV has most of the same mechanics as my wargrame. Players actually designed starting countries based on a point system and i really want to recreate this...I have limited computer skills so i need help and i am looking for someone who can help.

When I install this mod via subscribing, I still get the 1.1.0 Test Map. Not 1.2.0.

LatvianTanker The paradox team on youtube did a great example of pretty much all the map modding :D just look up hoi4 map modding. There is also the wiki, but watching the whole video is worth it in my opinion. also it may take some experimenting to save in the right formats and stuff if you don't have photoshop, I used paint.net for it.

How do you remove the provinces from the game without crashing?

i only get a 1.1.0 test map wich has half of the provinces owned by nobody so the countries are filled with holes. can somebody tell me how to get 1.2.0?

Some city names sound like actual cities but some city names sound like pure gibberish

Don't clear cache if you get a crash trying to play the game. Clearing cache somehow makes the game not start

There are a lot of known issues with this latest version that I hope to clean up this week. Sorry for the headaches everyone.

just untick "clean cache/directory" or something like that that pops up when rebooting after a crash, worked for me

I can't use the mod anymore, when I try to launch it with just this mod enabled it pops up an error saying: Could not create or read directory C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Paradoxinteractive\Hearts of Iron IV/mod//newmod. Then the game crashes.

You should really do something about the map "border," it breaks immersion a little bit

Well it is randomised, so it finds itself as balanced with every nation having the same focus tree. It depends on the player to do well.
