Please report bugs here. Remember that context and every detail of your load order and situation in game is very important for us. Thank you!

ALWAYS WRITE WHAT MODS YOU ARE USING BEFORE POSTING!

DO NOT REPORT BUG OR BALANCE ISSUES, UNLESS YOU HAVE TESTED SFO WITH NO OTHER MODS ENABLED - EXCEPT FOR SFO AND IT'S COMPATIBLE SUBMODS! If you are experiencing CTD/crashes, strange unit stats (oh no my RoR, Grail Knights etc are low hp!), improper campaign mechanics, and other oddities, then you are suffering from MODITIS. A lot of people aren't getting the true SFO experience, due to mod incompatibilities and don't know even know it.

IF YOU CANT LAUNCH THE MOD

It is recommended to not use dx12, also make sure you didn't opt in to beta versions then forgotten about it and you aren't using incompatible mods. Official SFO Collection is just a list for containing existing submods for this mod and it isn't meant to work, so don't click subscribe to all in that collection!

If you had participated in one of the SFO betas before make sure you have deleted them from your data folder, and keep in mind that Mac and Linux users are having issues with mods since release of Vampire Coast!

~Check other mods

Try to launch SFO mod without any other mods first.

~Resub

Simply unsubscribe from the mod. Launch game without any mods and make sure that SFO is not showing in mod manager anymore. After that subscribe to mod again.

~Clear your launcher folder

Hold windows key + R and type %appdata% this will take you to roaming, from there find The Creative Assembly folder and delete launcher folder located inside.

~Delete your workshop files

Sometimes unsubscribing won't solve things so you can try deleting the existing mod files to force steam to download fresh one!

Just go to the following folder; Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\594570 and search a key word of the mod (in our case, overhaul) right click on the file, select open file location and delete all the files there. If you don't have too many mods (or good internet speed) you can just delete the whole 594570 folder!

~Verify your files

On Steam library right click the game, then go to properties>local files>verify integrity of game files.

~Use Kaedrin's Mod Manager

I experience a bug in Mortal Empires, playing as Bretonnia. After i unlock the technology to confederate another bretonnian faction, it appears to be totally random if the confederation option actually appears in the diplomacy menu. i have tested this and after researching all the confed techs, i am only able to confed artois and lyonesse. after relaoding and researching again, i was able to confed bastonne artois and lyonesse. Anyone else experiences this bug?

Same problem here. For me, the confederation option is available for Thegan's Errantry and Knights of Origo. The confederation option doesn't even appear for all the mainland Bretonnian Dukedoms.

Encountered units in the T-Model Stance, they also often stay like that, move on the battlefield, but don't do attack animations - I don't know if they are actually doing damage, or if the models are just botched. Also encountered some Woodelf Tree Monsters suffering from the same problem.

So far this happened every time I encountered a Rebellion Army, or a non-faction army, like those that have to be beaten by the Tomb Kings to obtain the Nagash Tomes.

The option to Confederate doesn't even exist, it's not the same at all as the other factions not wanting to Confederate.

I have this minior problem, I am playing as Dark Elfs and i have built Torture Posts. It is tier II building with no possibility to upgrade, nevertheless the game keeps telling me to upgrade it

This is probably a vanilla bug but I don't seem to be getting many grudges as Karak Kadrin, despite being raided or having characters wounded/assasinated. I've had some, but they are the story ones like defeat three greenskin armies or use an agent against karak ziflin as they stole a halfling cook.

Found the old Spell-Spam bug on Melwin, faction leader in Citadel of Dusk.

His frost strike spell thingy is a bit much to take eight times in a row. Reloaded the save and had to hide Skulk in the bushes whilst the rats took the brunt of the never-ending onslaught.

It took over five minutes of battle time to kill him as I had every rat but the artillery on him and blessed with filth. He was uber-leet and my general ate him just in case I could absorb some of that secret stuff he was on.

I only have a few non-SFO mods, double-checked with PFM but it's just stuff like Dresden's movement mod and better building icons. I'll let you know if I find a conflict, but I'm fairly certain this faction leader got overlooked.

I'm having an issue where when playing as Beastmen, brayherds don't use the beast paths, and instead go into underway stance? They also enter underway stance whenever I go into hidden encampment, rather than following suit. I'm only using SFO, the 2X skillpoints for SFO, and the reduced upkeep for SFO mods by you. My load order is SFO, then the skillpoints, then the upkeep reducer.

I should note that the upkeep reduction mod isn't the easy mode one, but the other upkeep reduction mod for SFO, made by you.

Another issue I am having is with Eye of the Vortex. When playing as Tyrion, and enabling the tutorial battles, it tells me I have to upgrade Lothern's main settlement building to level 2, but with SFO installed, the building is already at level 2 by default, and so I can't go any further. I am stuck. I have to play with the tutorial battles off if I want to get past it, and I quite like playing through them.

Could someone perhaps shine some light on any these issues? Is it something I am doing wrong?

There's unfortunately no way to play tutorial battles with SFO enabled unless someone made a mod for buildings. The game has some hard-coded stuff in there that conflicts with capitals already starting at T2.

I myself would like the extra cavalry units you get, but if you start a normal game you'll get a starting package of units for your Lord. I wouldn't sweat it from a story perspective, as the tutorial is exactly the same for all races and the advisor replaces the general's own introduction speech and overlook of their situation.

Same old- lookie here x3, move ur lord, move your army, rush in like an idiot and don't flank by any means, oh noes new and more enemies, hold the hill, cav-type unit show up and charge the rear; now let me tell you every little thing to do as I further hamper your ability to make descisions... I personally hate the advisor and consistently tell him, "Don't tell me what to do, you're not my real Mom!" every time I hear his voice.

I tested Bretonnian Calvary AI as said it's broken in the main thread and it turns out it is something weird.

Said 10xxxx times, Modders cant change how AI behave in battle. And those formations are vanilla abilities, not SFO.

@PerfectForeigner: Can you stop posting thing that cant be fixed or changed in any way? Formations stay, end of topic. I tested it and didnt had any of mentioned bug. If it will happen I will try to find fix. And by the gods dont spam.

Mod you are using is not SFO compatible by the way.

@Venris, about the Beastmen issue I mentioned? I don't recall noticing that bug in the vanilla TW: WH2 game.
