(BFG) Imperial Navy - Cobra-Class Destroyer (Old)

Description
Please Note - I will be revamping the Battlefleet Gothic project soon, so this ship version will be come obselete once I get around to that. The Emperor Protects.

Battlefleet Gothic

Name: Cobra-Class Destroyer

Ship Type: Escort, Destroyer, Torpedo Boat

Faction: Imperium of Man, Imperial Navy, Pirates

Size Designation: Small (Escort Vessel)

Wiki Description:

In the competition for most numerous warship in the Imperium, the Cobra is a serious contender, roving swarms of the destroyers being found in service with every fleet in the Imperium and with pirates. The cobra class is armed three, forward mounted, sub-macro cannon turrets (for self defence against enemy escorts) and a set of four prow-mounted torpedoes launchers: which make a squadron of these dangerous warships a lethal threat to even the largest capital ships. The warship is also very poorly armoured (like all escorts), and the fastest warship in Imperial Navy service (fast even among other escorts), making the warship incredibly hard to hit with anything other than a lance as they make their torpedo runs and a nightmare to try and catch as they run for the cover of their home fleet/base. A single Cobra Class being the only ship able to escape the Yuctan incident in M40 (The Imperial navy's first encounter with a Necron fleet).

It is fast and maneuverable enough to get into a position from where its torpedoes will do most damage. However, due to its small size, large engine signature, and relatively poor armour, it does not stand up well to enemy fire. This shouldn't be a problem however, due to the long range of a torpedo. Cobras act in squadrons of between two and six ships, making a torpedo volley from a squadron enough to cripple a large capital ship. It is the smallest independent Imperial warship, the smaller ones being carried aboard larger cruisers.

I was noticably unhappy with the way my last BFG project attempt turned out. While I did manage to build a pair of escort ships for both the Imperial Navy and the Chaos faction, they didn't turn out quite the way I wanted them to be; and of the four only the Iconoclast Destroyer actually turned out any good. So I actually decided to git gud and make an actual replica of the original Cobra-Class Destroyer from Battlefleet Gothic, and thanks to BFG Armada I now have a TON of reference material.

I can confirm from playtesting that this ship's going to be suitable for only one role; long range ambushing. It's armor is too light and its shields are too weak for it to perform other tasks such as ramming (which I've tried) or up-front assault. Thanks to the handy mod made by CMDBob I have the perfect torpedo setup as well; something that I was severely lacking back when I first started the BFG project and only had DX9 mods like the Antimatter mod to work with. I'd like to give a shout out to him; his torpedoes are perfect for what I need!
