All assets from the former 'Bezirk Leipzig', made by the 'Baukombinat Leipzig', in one place.

This collection includes all buildings, mostly prefabs, that were built in the GDR-era in the district Leipzig.
'Baukombinat Leipzig' or 'construction combine Leipzig' is the responsible chain of factories for prefabricated buildings in the district Leipzig. Nearly all prefab buildings of this era, built in and around the city of Leipzig, originated from these factories.

The former 'district Leipzig' / 'Bezirk Leipzig' included the city Leipzig as well as:

Some creations of the 'WBK Leipzig' were also built in other cities, most importantly East-Berlin.
Many of the buildings including 'VT-Schalen' (VT-panels), as well as office buildings and street lamps are scattered all around the former GDR.
