描述
Stony Shores is a random map script that has lots of hills, cliffs, craters, rocks, and lots of stone you can mine. All this stone comes at a price though - it's difficult to find enough building space because of all the hills, cliffs and rocks. Also, trees don't grow well in stony soil (which is unfortunate, considering that it may well be a good idea to build a fleet).

I've stuffed this map with eye-candy, and lots of varied terrains.


To play, choose the following when setting up a match:

Map style: Custom
Location: ZN@Stony_Shores_v2.1

This is version 2:
>LudiRKIS map-size support added
>Amount of greatly eye-candy reduced to provide more building space
>Rocks on shores now spawn correctly
>Relics no longer spawn in groups of rocks

Known issues:
Building space can be very limited on this map. With v2 I’ve tried to address this problem by scaling back the amount of eye-candy. AIs generally do ok on this map.

Ctrl F12 only works correctly in the CD version of the game. I take all my full map shots there.

Could you tell me how you get the full map screen shot. The Ctrl F12 feature doesn't work for me. It says it is saving the file while in the game but it never appears in the screenshots folder. I'd appreciate any help. It's actually worked one time.

Yeah, I removed them just so they wouldn't be a bunch of red guys in my list, but once you get the chance I'll just get them again :) Just got the Forgotten expansion (and Age 3 haha) as well so I have more than enough to keep me happy until then.

I'm glad to hear that!
The recent update means that if you are on patch 4.0 you might not be able to download new items until I upgrade them (which should be soon).

I usually play defensively and turtle up, this map should be fun. I've downloaded about half of your collection already, still haven't even played them all but they look great!
