Proficiency Class Irregular: Brawler

Description
“Commander, had a couple of new volunteer’s join up today, they would never made it into the original XCOM program. But… beggars can’t be choosers. From talking to them I think they have jail time, most likely for bar fights by the smell. They can take a hit and getting up close and personal. Not sure they will be the best against a mech or a Berserker, put your average advent may think twice” Jane Kelly

Brawlers use auto pistols and combat knives. The like to get in close and go toe to toe. They can take a hit and are hard to distract. They use attacks with the knife that weaken the opponent and spray bullets at targets in near proximity. They also don’t seem to mind a riot with instant access to Molotov’s support grenades.. As physical skills they gain immunity to Viper crush, bleeding disorientate and panic as the level alone with some minor combat buffs.
Irregular classes are class that don’t fit normal military combat but more an idea, ethos or personality. Due to this they are rarely received by promotion and cannot be trained in the GTS. They can be recruited through a covert infiltration mission chain, and you can only spawn if you have less than 2.

If you don’t worry you can still use it, just go to the XComClassData.ini file in the workshop folder and change NumInForcedDeck=0 to NumInForcedDeck=1 to guarantee 1 to be promoted and make them available in the GTS or NumInDeck=2 to NumInDeck= 4 to get normally levels of promotions.

Proficiency: Advanced Combat Training
Rank 1 – Pub brawl– Immunity to Viper crush, and Gain 1 armour
Rank 2 – 5 pint brawl- Immunity to Bleeding, Immunity to Disorientation and Gain 15 will.
Rank 3 – 10 pint brawl- Immunity to Panic, Gains the survivor perk and Gain 1 armour.

Sprayer – Focuses on the autopistol.
Stabber – Focuses on combat knife attacks against organic enemies
Distractor – Specialising smoke grenades and alternative incendiaries.

There is a XCOM line that will generate from small random pools like the original classes

GTS Perks
• Brawler: 5 pint brawl -Proficiency Starts at Rank 2.
• Brawler: 10 pint brawl - Proficiency Starts at Rank 3.
Known Issues
• Stats from the proficiency perks will not show in the barracks but do in tactical.

Compatibility
• Psionics Ex Machina 3.0 - Supported (uncomment the line to enable psiamp secondary)
• Dedicated Pistol Slot - Supported natively
• [SOCI] Chain: Rescue Resistance Leader. – only needed if running Covert infiltration. Can be ignored if you have edited the ClassData file mentioned above.
• Mod now has compatibility with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3079956612. If using that mod it removes the lack of overwatch added to auto pistols and reduces the negative pierce to fit the theme of the weapon mod but not destroy this class.

There's a typo in Mitz's perk pack referencing the Molotov image. I messaged them about it.

Regarding pub brawl, you're missing a reference to an img in X2Ability_profWOTCBrawler, line 28. Currently the line is just:

Template.IconImage = "img:///";

I unsub and resub as you ask. The icons still missing. Molotov icon is working in tactical but still show img; in perk tree. It seems that molotov mod just recently updated on May 12th, perhaps the icon location change?

@lanford. Still not worked out the issue with the icons. The molotov one is a perk from Mitzruti and the icon is pulled directly from the molotov mod.

Can you try unsubcribing to this mod deleting the files and then resubbing to it. (Mod equivalent to turning on and off)

I can confirm that the True Primary Secondaries has been fixed.

However, the problem with Pub Brawl and Molotov's icon still present. It stills show img; icon, even with rebuild soldier command.

It should not have changed any perks in the tech tree. I will have a look at the other stuff

Sorry to spam you but I just noticed that Marauder has been changed to Lightning Hand. Is this intend as a compensation to increase in aim?

i got an error that tells me this mod wants to run after True Primary Secondaries, but TPS its running last.
