Map Options
  • Resource Exclusion Zones:
Semi-random real world resource placement. Resources are placed in regions based on where they appear in the real world
  • Civilization Requested Resources:
Place extra resources specific to each Civilization, such as those needed for Unique Units
  • Ley Lines In Capitals:
Place Ley Lines in every capital when using Secret Societies mode
  • Convert Maize in Americas:
Convert all Wheat resources in the Americas to Maize
  • Less Forest Fires:
Forest Fires can no longer spawn on Tundra or Tundra Hills. All fires remain in a burnt state for 2 turns longer.
  • Faster Sea Travel:
Units move twice as fast on Ocean terrain
  • Disable Free CS Envoy:
No free envoys from being the first player to meet a City-State
  • Disable Emergency Visibility:
No shared visibility for joining an emergency
  • Higher Era Score Limits:
Raise the Era Score threshold for Dark Ages and Golden Ages (currently only for Dramatic Ages mode)
  • Real City Names:
Cities are renamed based on their geographic location. Features Civilization Specific names and Native Only names
  • Real Map Labels:
Map labels are changed to their real names. Does not affect the tooltip panel. Minor seas and major river labels are optional and can be turned off from MapLabelManager.lua. Requires Gathering Storm

Compatibility
  • Default mod location: ..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\2242698031

  • GitHub Link[github.com]

  • Uses a custom version of AssignStartingPlots.lua from YNAMP. Compatible with all YNAMP maps, will not affect other maps. May not be compatible with other mods that replace AssignStartingPlots.lua.

  • Real Map Labels option uses a custom version of MapLabelManager.lua from the Gathering Storm UI scripts. Load order set to 1 for compatibility with other mods that may change this file. The map labels are all sourced from the games files, based on the LocalizedText, and are compatible with all languages. Does not affect map labels on other maps.

  • Compatible with Resource placement rules and Loyalty changes from the TSL Earth Remastered mod, such as Loyal Capitals

  • Original version of this mod with Earth (128*80) map with no upscaling:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/gdyr9e8e7i4rgvw/2242698031.zip?dl=0

  • Previous version of this mod with the Earth (128*80) map with less upscaling:

Known Issues
  • Invisible Borders, Cities and Units:
When using more than the default maximum number of players for the game, the game may run out of default jersey colors for all players. Use a jersey mod like Prismatic to resolve the issue

  • No Pantheon and Unable to Finish Turn:
When using more than the default maximum number of players for the game, there may be no pantheons left for the player to choose. Download a mod that adds more pantheons for future games, and reload an earlier save before pantheons run out for the current game

  • Players lose their capital to loyalty pressure early in the game:
    Use the Loyal Capitals mod

  • Changing maps in a saved game setup configuration breaks TSL:
When using the "Load Configuration" option in the Advanced Setup menu, do not change the map type between maps in this mod. It can break TSL by using the TSL list from the previous map. You should create a separate config for each map in the mod and do not change the map type once saved.

  • Giant Earth Warnings:
    - Worldbuilder map (not a YNAMP map script)
    - All starting positions must be unique. Players without a defined TSL will cause the map to fail!
    - Not compatible with the "Force TSL" option
    - Modded Civs, City-States and Alternate Leaders must be added in the MapStartPositions_ModSupport.xml file with a TSL and Leader Type defined

This mod used to work flawlessly for me but now for some reason when i start a new game, no matter what civ i start, nothing spawns an im just looking at some random section of the map with nothing to do. No units, no settler, nothing. Any help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same issue. Trying to play the 150x80 size

I don't understand why it is that, in my game, the city-state of Venice is being called Antioch. I can tell that it is Venice, but the main name that appears on the map is Antioch. And I turned off the option to name cities based on geographic location. Regardless, it is actually to the north of Italy, not even where Antioch would be.

anyone know how do i compartmentalise the map (like SkylarSaphyr's map or Ynamp Giant Earth) since i find 128*80 is too big for me

will the giant earth map crash in late game like the issue in YNAMP Giant earth map that crash when it progress into mid-late game?

@Lauvs For my case, for 128*80 I need to check "check ''Only Civilisations/CityStates with TSL" for TSL to work. For Equal Area Earth I don't need to. No idea why

Is there FAQ how to get it started? Like put that file in there etc

I test all those maps and tsl or non-tsl, and found that only Equal Area Earth's TSL is working....both giant and 128's TSL is totally broken.
