Oh yeah, I'm absolutely going to do that. When the new mod goes up, this'll go unlisted, but the new mod link will be in the description.
And well, being unlisted means you can't search it or find it in my workshop list anymore, so it's purely for the people already subscribed.
Could you update the mod page with the link to it when it gets released?
As of right now, the separate overhaul mod version is about... 30% or so complete?
No problem! I just can't update the mod/page yet. But it will be updated with the new information soon.
Thanks for letting us know ^^
I'm reversing my decision regarding making the overhaul update overwrite everything, erasing all legacy content and causing save wipes.
This change is due to personal safety concerns, as the current global climate of unrest makes it unwise to draw significant negative attention to myself.
Instead, the legacy Angel mod - THIS MOD - will be updated to remove the warnings and will remain on the workshop until the overhaul is released as a separate mod. This legacy version will then be hidden but remain accessible, allowing players to keep it indefinitely, though transitioning to the overhaul will still require a save wipe.
Probably around a year or more, considering all the work that needs to be done.
As a starbound player who has subscribed to too many mods, I don't think the crashes caused by updates are too bad compared to mod conflicts. I haven't played starbound for three months now, just waiting for an update and opening a new save
