Description
The T set, or "Tangara" debuted in 1988 and remains a key part of Sydney's train fleet. Like all of Sydney's trains it features double-decker seating, so I have set the capacity of both control car and passenger carriage at 80, which is more than double the default train, and still less than the true capacity (as anyone who has crammed into one at peak hour can attest).

I have revisited this set six months after its original publishing and applied lessons learnt since then. The texture is 1/4 the original, and the diffuse is much dimmer so the colours aren't as blown out.

This model cannot be line-coloured.

The non-line coloured T set items on the workshop (4 car, 6 car, 8 car) all use the same textures for both passenger and motor cars. Using this essential mod can save on texture loading time.

To convert these trains for use with Metro Overhaul Mod, go to your local app data folder (usually username\AppData\Local\) then Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\TrainConverter-Config.xml and add this line within the <pantograph-trains-to-metro> group:
<items workshop-id="1650878645" description="Tangara" replace-last-with-trailer="false" />

Ah, I think I get it.. I'm going to mess around with stations when I get home and try to figure out how to make my own. Seems complicated.

Yeah it is but when it replaces the X-junction at station, it makes it longer there for trains have to stop even further down the platform.

a) I'm here to make models of stuff in Sydney, if I have to settle for placeholder assets they'll be vanilla.
b) what is the railway mod? Is that Ronyx69's replacer thing? I've been meaning to check that. How does it alter whether the Waratah fits that long station?
Speaking of Railway Mod, you should use it for your screenshots. It will make the screenshots better than seeing the big chunky vanilla rails.
What about the 168m stations by konfox0527? The Waratah’s fit perfectly unless it’s with the Railway Mod.

Well, besides track to test and get screenshots, of course. No considered infrastructure, let put it that way

Might be waiting a bit for that.. I want to do some darned stations at long last, to fit these long trains. :P I haven't even laid any track in my model Sydney, even though trains are my favourite part!
Finally, the modern Sydney Trains Fleet is, well almost complete, we just need the M and H Set. Nice work tho!
