Montmartre Funicular Station Pack


Informations:

The construction of the Montmartre funicular was decided upon by the Paris municipal council in 1891. It was built to serve the Sacré-Cœur Basilica at the summit of the outlier of Montmartre and was inaugurated on 5 June 1891.

The Paris city government voted to construct the Montmartre funicular in 1891. Initially, operation of the funicular was subcontracted to Decauville through a concession that ended in 1931. Thereafter, the Société des transports en commun de la région parisienne (STCRP) took control, and this was nationalized together with the Compagnie du chemin de fer métropolitain de Paris (CMP) to form the Régie autonome des transports parisiens (RATP), which continues to operate the funicular today.

In 1935, the system was converted to electricity. The funicular was completely rebuilt by the RATP in 1990–1991.

  • Depending on the slope, station tracks might be misaligned from the building. In that case, use Move It's nod editing function, while pressing on Alt key to edit station nodes.
  • In case you use Mekarski inclined funiculars, use either one of them depending the way you set up train lines.
  • Use Bi-Directional funicular tracks, in order to get 2 funicular, one per track.
  • Located in train menu. Or use Find It with following tags: "france, paris, funicular, funiculaire, station, montmartre, geze, revo, rev0"

Teh game has started to complain this asset has netinfo missing.

Hi!

First of all thank you for the asset.

Please help me for the hilltop station, I can not find any point where it fits every where it writes "Slope too step!".

I tried from 0% slope to 99%.

I got it. Yes, it's a mod I use. I did not think about it. I used the lane connector and problem solved.

2. While doing the above test I understood where the problem was. I saw 4 stations in the list but it was only Find it that created the copies. In the transport menu there are only 2. My mistake :-)

1. No, if you use bidirectional tracks. Tracks had crossing disabled so they're not supposed to switch lanes as far as i remember, unless lane mechanics are changed or there's a mod interfering with it (TMPE comes to mind)
2. There are two stations that are modeled differently as seen in pictures; one is on hilltop other one is on ground station.

@REV0 Hi. Is it normal for the cabin/train to pass from one lane to another halfway up the slope or upon arrival at one of the two stations?

Another question. I didn't quite understand the difference between stations A and B

Since you copy pasted the same message in every funicular asset I will do the same. Descriptions of funicular vehicles cleary state that you should disable regional spawning by using Advanced Vehicle Options.

Fact that your train network "is wrecked" is not because of assets, it is because you are incapable of reading a description given to you and accomplish a trivial task.

And as if this is not enough, you are straight lying that you read it. If you have read them, you would have disabled them via AVO and never had this issue to begin with.

Disliked it because simply subscribing to any Funicular asset (vehicles) makes all trains in new/existing savegames to randomly use these slow vehicles on normal train tracks, e.g. in place of external connection trains that the game spawns. This wrecks the whole import/export system as it slows down the whole network automatically, therefore it breaks (this way) the game for ALL users who download it. This fundamental issue is not mentioned in the description or faq link or comments, which is my main problem.

What do you want to reduce here. This has 3 times less triangles than a barrel pallet PROP from an official DLC.
