Description
First Funiculars of Cities Skylines

Description

This is a new road type developed on train network; funiculars. I was long time planning to develop funiculars but with road editor it was much more easier. Refer "Funicular Track" asset for any discussion.
Technical Details

  • Custom made funicular network.
  • Maximum operation speed: same as default train tracks.
  • 1/3 construction price
  • Real life gauge width; 1m that is general in funiculars.
  • 3rd rail for extra traction; ABT cog rails.
  • Custom ground, elevated and bridge segments.

Side Notes

There is a downvote fairy in workshop, who is downvoting every vehicle asset that gets released not done by him. If you like this model, make sure to upvote it.

Legacy Tracks

It is possible that, from update to update your gamesave might go broken. In that case, unsub these tracks, use offline assets provided below, load your game delete your tracks and resub this one again.

Update 2.5:

*Missing props added
*SUBSCRIBE PROP PACK

I verify that all stations are functional with 2.5update. If your game is broken, use legacy pack above, delete your old tracks and resub this one again.

Well, i'm able to load the savegame, but don't see anything on the map. Everything is messed up, buildings and roads missing etc. I'm not able to delete anything and i also cannot save the game afterwards. Please send me the link for local copies.

Try to delete stations and tracks with old variants if you see them. Otherwise ill send a link for local copies of initial release see if it fix.

Tried two times now. I get into the game but i can't save the game. The saving process runs forever and nothing happens.

Can you still open the map, save it and then re-launch ? I did change pillar name (only pillar) since steam broke previous tracks in any case.

If openin the map - save it - then relaunch with new tracks doesnt solve it, I will revert tracks to inital 1.0, i still keep v1.0 crp files.

i can't load my map anymore with this mod. Loading screen mod gives me the following errors:
"1250956459.pillar_Data
You have 1250956459 but it does not contain pillar_Data. Name probably changed by the author"

The same for the assets:
1250957412.Train Track Elevated1
1251031385.Funicular Station thr +6m_Data

In addition i get this "missing prop "errors that point to this mod:
"fn.pillar_2.fn.pillar_Data
Required in: 1250957412.Train Track Bridge0
1250957412.Train Track Elevated0
Workshop asset requires private content, seems like asset bug"

Have you changed the prop names? BTW. i resubsribed to all the parts of this mod and also checked if everything is loaded within the content manager.

These are props that game save within tracks. Sometimes they are deacrivated by content manager, check if it is the case.
