Looks like I'm getting a crash when one of these ships spawns in. Might also be the Aquila.

In my server the turrets are not working and the escort drone attack the main ship. Has anyone had the same problem? All the other factions with MES work

Zaboomafoo2 - there's a mod called Inhibitor which you can download that allows you to place a block in your stations that does this - you can configure it to disable any block (to the best of my understanding), but the default is drills and the like.

is it possible you could release the ability blocks as a stand alone thing? having the ability to disable jetpacks in an area could allow for cool builds.

Whether they're moving around or not you can aim your reticle at them and press CTRL+Delete to delete them from the world. That is if you're in single player. If you're asking about a multiplayer game you are not admin on with copy/paste permissions you'll have to ask an admin to do it.

I was playing and a marker appeared that says Dangerou Imver Enconuter but when I get closer there is nothing when I get closer

Is it possible to defeat a hostile faction so they're eliminated (gone, no more) or do they just keep spawning forever making it a never ending battle?

I like the mod, but dislike how Imber ships are so far the only ones that can fire through the terrain no matter how thick, could be roughly 1km-2km worth of mountain and directly hit my stations armor that's embedded deep within, if this could be fixed I'd appreciate it.

been having a lot of fun with this mod so far, it really makes the world feel lived in. I have a question about the data pads found in some of the NPC bases/ships, are they just fluff or is there some deeper meaning/quest/etc behind them? If it is just fluff it's a neat touch and i've enjoyed collecting them, but if it's more than that i'm stoked to follow the thread.

@Damien I'm sure a really powerful ship is supposed to spawn just had that happened and it wrecked everything in sight for an hour and is still going.

Are IMBER and IMDC supposed to be "Friendly" They refuse to shoot one another.

ohh alright, thanks for the information, but i have one more question. i keep getting something like "Dangerous encounter" and nothing is spawning when i get close, am i missing something?

When they call for reinforcements, they’re attempting to broadcast to any nearby combat capable ship. If a militarized ship happens to be in the area, it will likely respond and attack you - which could be trouble depending on the size of the ship

i have a question. so when i attack a IMBER settlement like a base or watch tower things like that they call for reinforcements but nobody shows. is that a big or does it need to reach some kind of requirement?

So it has happened more, and interestingly, it only crashes in survival mode when any planetary cargo ship from any mod is removed from the world. It could be from the mod "Advanced Energy Cannons" But I am not really sure.

@HaVoCxCoBrA - if you have the Trade Operators Coalition mod installed, you can visit one of the trade stations and use those points (along with credits) to purchase permanent suit upgrades.

Out of curiosity, I just disabled and looted an IMBER processing Facility and I got something called "Research Point". And one of it specifically. What do these Research Points count toward?

@springedc i had the same issue, for me its when the railgun is disconnected from the rest of the ship. so i just powered it down and let it slowly hit the ground so it doesnt break the game. id suggest doing the same nothing else seemed to have worked for me

The game keeps crashing whenever a ship is removed. The log says an exception like "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" I don't know if this is an MES issue or something else but it makes it hard to keep playing.

The encounters keep getting turned off for my save, I keep turning it on then when I either load the game and go back to main menu the setting has reset to off again, wolves and spiders keep doing the same thing, no idea why

Is there any way to prevent NPCs from spawning with inhibitors? I looked through the GitHub page and couldn't find a setting for it.

@Glorb - Sounds like you've either disabled global damage in the admin permissions, or you have a mod that is messing with weapon damage.

The AI ships are completely invincible Whether it be from rail gun shots or rocket launchers they take no damage not sure whats happening

So I was part way through a survival game with this mod working fine. Id destroyed a couple of defence outposts and found the location of a number of Imber outposts, ore processing, fortress towers and so on. Then, yesterday I noted a small download for SE when I booted up the game. This usually is a small update to a mod. Then In game today, all of the Imber outposts have vanished. The mod appears to still be installed okay but everything has gone apart from a fighter docking station. Im not seeing any incoming communication either on the left side f the screen from incoming ships requesting docking permission (presumably because the bases themselves are gone).

Any ideas ?

The call for help is a signal to other grids in the area. If no other grids for that faction are in the area, nothing can come to help. The Imber and Parallax mods rarely spawn additional defenses (if ever). More combat oriented MES collection mods do that.

Oh and for anyone wondering, this mod is solid.

Ships fly around, stations spawn, the whole rickmatick.

It's not just stand-still bases, it's not just cargo ships that fly in a straight line, there's ships that actually seem to do stuff. I haven't observed them close enough to tell what they're doing, but they're certainly not as dumb as the vanilla pirate ships and cargo ships, far from it.

I want to disable hostile ships such as the small fighter craft with drones that fly aimlessly in large spirals.

Note that 'Random Encounters' is turned off, but these still spawn. They will go in range and shoot up my shit.

According to the description of Imber Corp, they're not good guys, but they shouldn't attack unless you approach their shit or have done something to anger them. I haven't done either, but I'm willing to bet that this drunk fighter is going to stumble in range of my unarmed ship and nonsensically decide to destroy it.

I can't find on Google whether 'Weapons Enabled' will inhibit the ability of NPCs to use weapons. All I can find is remarks that this isn't the case, and that 'Weapons Enabled' only disables player use of weapons. This makes me want to turn off this mod, which is a shame. I like variety.
