Is it possible to relocate the info box from steering wheel to the middle of the screen? I hate how it hides my dashboard.

There's like a dozen or more new data objects introduced in the 1.56 update. I'm fairly certain I can fix the mod. I do not have a timeline for a fix.

So I tried to use with 1.56 Open beta and have an issue. I've edited the versions.sii file adding 1.56 following the same format. I've done this in the past until the mod is updated but now when I click to drive the game immediately crashes. Anyone else having the same issue?

It works. Try to force update the mod.

I don't know why but I only see the default route advisor. The bar isn't even showing up.

Truly love this mod and wouldn't be without it - in fact after a game update first thing I do is hack the manifest to see if it still works - so far so good! Potential improvement suggestion - for a quick glance I find the white speed text a bit lost between the yellow bank balance and the yellow current gear indicator. When over the speed limit there is a red highlight box around the speed. Would maybe a green (or yellow) highlight box be possible when driving at (or under) the speed limit? That would make it stand out better at a glance. Either way, thanks for a great mod!!!

yep, the problem was there is only one Dir for both mod. so i take both out and re in and now it works. but i dont understand why it has work in ATS after owner update and in ETS2 not?

How to MANUALLY (and very easily) update the mod for v1.54! (ETS2 & ATS)

Since the comments section won't allow all my guide to be posted here as it is way above 1.000 characters long - TO ANYONE INTERESTED - just scroll a little bit upwards and within the "Discussions" section, you'll find my post with everything you need to do to manually update the mod and have it working again in no time.

For some reason, your mod hasn't been automatically updated on the steam workshop since 1.52.

Do as I did (I've just checked for ETS 2), unsubscribe from the mod, check that it has been deleted from your PC. Then re-subscribe, and check your “versions.sii” file again. The missing versions 1.52 and 1.53 must now be added to the “versions.sii” file for ETS2. Add the corresponding line for 1.54 for the mod on ETS 2 and save.

Do the same for the ATS mod and check the .sii file.
Normally, the 1.54 correspondence is already entered

so, this is written in my file:

package_version_info : .150
{
package_name: "150"
compatible_versions[]: "1.50.*"
compatible_versions[]: "1.51.*"
}
}

you can see, there is no 1.52 or else. and so it is written to in ATS and i got no problems in ATS.

I don't know if I understood your message correctly, but as far as I'm concerned with ETS2, adding the line
compatible_versions[]: “1.54.*”

allows me to have the mod working.

For ATS, I didn't need to do it because it was already up to date.


Here's what I now have in the file: Version.sii for ETS2 and ATS see if you have the same thing. If so, it should work. If the mod doesn't work for you, then I don't know why :/

I can't seem to space the lines in the steam chat:
Package_name 150 and the lines: compatible_version[]: “1.5x.*”
as in the game text file, but you'll understand that you have to leave a space to the left as for the other package_version_info

@Lucus Suisse: on my end it not work. btw the last compatible_versions[]: "1.51.*" inside no 1.52 or 1.53
so how should i do, when the owner self never chance this comandline? i use it on ATS to and there is no compatible_versions[]: "1.54.*" it is the same last entry compatible_versions[]: "1.51.*"?
and it works after update by owner!

Go to:

SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/227300/965340469
then open the “version.sii” file with Windows Notepad.

Look for the line: compatible_versions[]: “1.53.*”
and add this below:

compatible_versions[]: “1.54.*”


Save the file and close.
