Is there a way to change the robot base color? It is weird. Does the bot stand over glass? The MOD work very nicely thx max. Just gave me back 2 more colonists.

conflicts with RuntimeGC cause that mod allows you to just remove filth so the bots just hover around =,(

How does this one differ from the other mod (Arctic SE Cleaning Bot) by the author Daniel_USA (who is listed on here as an author as well)?

Guys, it's simple. Cleaner Base Station is crafted on machining bench. Then install it somewhere and activate the cleaning bot.

Cleaning robots get confused (wander about aimlessly) if their restrict zone has a Rimefeller oil spill - remove or clean the oil spill and they work again.

This actually broke my game :( probably conflicted with another mod, but it made the narrator portraits disappear, a new game won't generate a world and in a saved game I can't abandone my colony (game just crashes).

Is this working in 1.0? I can't figure out how to research and make these buildable. I do have Base Robots installed, too.

FYI, I've found that if any of the area the cleaning bot is assigned to clean is outside then the bot won't clean at all and just wander around. Create a new cleaning area which is just inside and it'll work fine. The bot still works if this area is covers two separate buildings. The bot will happily go outside to get to the other buildings.

PSA if a robot gets damaged but not destroyed, you can repair it in dev mode with "heal random injury (10) under the pawns tool. Highly recommend it because there's apparently no other way.

@Daniel_USA I can confirm bots don't clean if there is a snow cleaning area with snow in it (what Dartonal wrote). Otherwise they work fine.

Gotta say, I liked your bots, but they sometimes just refuse to clean. I checked it over, and yes while I run a heavily modded colony, I don't have any mod that effects Cleaning, unless it's hidden from the release notes. I guess since it's broken, I'll have to look for other robot mods like the one you suggested with Rimfactory? Anyway, thanks for the effort, I'm sorry to see this mod break.

Is it possible to repare damaged (but not dead) robots? Is it possible to make them repairable? Or even possible to improove?

so basically the bot was cleaning until I made a snow clear area, then it just wandered around until the colonists cleared it, then went back to cleaning again

the robot does nothing apart from meander in the room its base station is in when there is snow in a snow clear zone, I'm pretty sure this is what is causing other people's 'bots not cleaning' problems rather than mod incompatabilities

99% of these comments are due to heavily modded games.

pawns not charging because of mods (colonist pawns won't construct objects sometimes due to mods)

pawns not cleaning, again because you are using a mod that modifies the cleaning in one way or another.

bots being "disabled" again read the description and realize that was never implemented (maybe a long long time ago it was but the mod author abandoned rimworld and is probably never coming back)

This mod and Misc.Robots do not play well together.

whichever you load at the bottom is the one that will effect the robots tab (yes Misc.robots took that from Base Robots)

I'm using the bots right now and I can tell you 100 percent they are cleaning. if they are not cleaning it is because you have a mod that causes it not to clean.

Load this mod towards the end. If you use stuff like Misc.Robots then it is a big no no since I think last time I checked Misc.Robots took the robotics tab code for themselves.

If you need another robot mod then look for spudskatr's project rimfactory which has compatible bots. (his are done way way better to be honest but these are much simpler)

Also there seems to be a bug with dissasembling robots so for now any robots corpses you have just blow them up in fire.

My bots don't seem to be cleaning anything even when there is stuff to clean right next to them anyone got any idea how to fix this.

This should be part of the base game, period. With how much these idiot colonists are unstable, should be part of the base game entirely.
This saves my colonists and works better than a psychologist.

Concerning literally everyone having bug issues

One way I fix problems is by using the destroy verb through dev mode. If something is glitched out, I destroy/delete it, and spawn the resources needed for a new one, if I can't just spawn a new one itself.

Hopefully the bugs will be patched soon, but Arcane_Chill hasn't been on in 178 days.

My bots arent cleaning, just roaming in circles, when i try to deactivate them they sit in the corner of the station and dont go back in so i cant reactivate them

having the same issue... set the stockpile to be able to store them, but it won't work

The bot seems to get "disabled" and reading the info it says "This is the sad end of a bot, its no longer useful and needs heavy repairs or dismantling". The base station can be deconstructed ok but the bot can't be repaired, nor can it be moved. I've set stockpiles to specifically allow it and it still can't be hauled.

The cleaning bots don't seem to clean anything if any tiles in their active zone is designated as a snow removal zone. They just wander in a room near their station. Anyone know what's up with that?

The cleaning bots and the hauling bots are not recharging at the stations. They go to the station, but stand just outside of it and are not actually in it and don't recharging, causing their battery to run out and die. Anything I should do different to try and fix that?

Got 8 bots just wandering around fully charged while the filth is piling up everywhere

Why is the cleaning robot wandering and not cleaning eventho hes charged and has a selected area?

I'm having a bit of a problem, I am looking all over my research but there is nothing related to researching the robots
