1.I am only using the two mods and their libraries, it is not caused by MES, i tested it on its own and it was fine
2.To replicate place a programmable block with these mods enabled, then use Ctrl+ MW and all names are reset, including numbers
I dont know if these comments are even looked at tbh
My solution was to make a local copy of the mod and then edit the backend script (and also each drone script) to disable the check. It was a huge pita but I got it mostly working (but maybe not well enough to share). Eventually I kinda gave up. This mod is harsh if you refuse to use Safe Zones or shield mods.
And it was the hacker drone that I was interested in. Neutered it (but only slightly because it's fun), the other ones became too annoying eventually.
Bloody Vengeance Drone...*muttering old man speak*
Btw it seems I had blacklisted the hacker drone in that save. I have forgotten how, but you may want to look into that as it can be very naughty! But if you keep your antennas set to short range only, it's not really an issue.
I saw that your threat score was very high, and so I spawned in Instinct - Atmospheric Frigate to boost my Threat Score and then I ran the command and the drones were on the clipboard!
Thanks for the help r4v1n6!!!

Generally you need to be in space for Corruption to spawn, other MES mods have other requirements.
It is quite simple as this; If you don't like the difficulty, *DON'T USE THE MOD.* Read before you subscribe, saves you a lot of time and effort. Very useful skill to have. If you lose all of your ♥♥♥♥ because of it, nobody is gonna cry for you.
If you download this then get pissy that's your own fault because the description tells you the trouble you're in for. You can either remove the mod or stop being a child and crying in the comments because you can't be bothered to read the description.
The hacker drone doesn't contribute anything significant to this mod. It's only caused players to get upset and create pointless arguments. That is a testament to its lack of purpose.
This is supposed to be a very aggressive and punishing mod with ACTIVE threats. Which quite frankly from my years of experience playing it can be very well avoided (mostly) by just turning down the range of your antennae. Which by the way is also how you can avoid getting 'hacked' by the hacker drone. If you can't handle NPC's actively hunting you down to frick with you, you shouldn't play it.
"sadly WeaponCore mods are not compatible with third party weapon mods, you must use one or the other. Incompatible weapons: Corruption-SmallMissileLauncher-Sniper,
The incompatible weapons listed above have been SCHEDULED FOR REMOVAL IN 60 SECONDS. If this is not acceptable either type /wc unsupportedmode or quit WITHOUT SAVING and uninstall all WC related mods"
- In-Game Scripting for some reason every time i activate this something in the game unable them can some one tell me what mod does this?
This gives the player the ability to defend themselves from the Hacker Drone and not just deactivate it from the game.
I do like the concept of the whole encounter, but give us the tools to defend against it.
Now I did deactivate the mod to see if I could come up with a solution.
Somehow, while playing last night another Hacker drone spawned. WITH THE MOD DEACTIVATED!
