You mistake, the core is needed for arma 3. The others are addons to the core for arma expansions and mods.

I am doing some updates in the background for this mod and expanding into more for the new DLCs.

I will make a note of the multiple placed items causing possible issue(damage related)

@Mustang, for the wall thing a lot of my guys experience it. It is random to reproduce. Place a wall, and run up to it. Run along the wall back and forth and you take damage from it. If an object is causing damage, it will cause damage for every person who runs into it, but not ever object causes damage. It's not the type of object either, it's the specific one that was placed. So placing 5 of a small rock wall could result in only one(or possibly none) having the damage issue.

Will look into a few of these comments as the group I am with is looking into using this for their modded ops and they too will have a few such as Windows Key and ACE conflict.
and possibly the need for a placement timer.

Hi is there any way we can increase the build time? I want to use this mod in a PvP environment, but it's simply too OP in it's current state as things are placed instantly

We are still getting the thing where stuff goes away after logging off the server and back on again. Anyone able to help get stuff we build to stay on the server permanently?

Oh, also, the windows keys conflict with default Ace keys. Is there any way to change those?

Is it possible to favorite a specific item, or duplicate it? I'd like to have a handful of objects readily available without dropping an additional crate for every one of them, if possible.

Is there a way to make things stay after loading? We are playing Antistasi Plus mod and every time we reload the game everything that is built is gone, minus a few things here and there, like the cargo crates and boxes are still there, but most buildings, lights, walls, etc vanish even when we save it server side.

Maybe I am just stupid but how do you build Items out of the Inventory? And the Button "Turn on DPBEA" flashes but doesnt do anything. Am I missing something or is it maybe a mod conflict or something?

Whenever i activate this mod, i am no longer able to refuel at gas stations(have tested 3 maps so far(ruha, virolahti & deniland); even the fuel pumps spawned from the crates don't refuel).
-also, the loot spawns in ravage mod(when activated) are empty.

What am i missing here?


Wrt the keybinds, could 'insert' be used instead of the windows key?

Would be really nice if the mapping of the keys would be different. I think due to the use of the windows key it breaks some stuff when used with ACE since ACE itself is heavy one the use of the Windows key. Can we get custom key configurations maybe?

Out of curiosity do we know what mods this does NOT work with? was trying to get it going with several other mods and i couldnt seem to get it to work. not even seeing it in the addon options list. is it custom keys i need to modify? do i need to do something in MCC? just wondering if its conflicting codes or something.

That would be about 4000 to 5000 more pieces.
I did have some work related to that for exile but its been a long time since I have looked for that work.
Maybe as dayz sa development winds down, I can take a look for that old work.

Ravage v0144 and loot changed?

it still works with ravage v.0144, this was the version of ravage before the loot system changed.

If I install this mod into my Antistasi server, alot of my ACE mods won't work or are conflicting with it. Is there anything to make it compatible with each other

Hi good sir, unfortunately you are referencing a different script release for Altis Life.
In fact DPBuild Everything Arma series does not use the _furniture variable at all.
I think you are referencing a very old script release for Altis Life called eXpanded furniture with vector building which is not a part of this addon DPBEA.
This addon is compatible with that script release but its not necessary as Altis Life allows for any of these buildables as virtual items in your inventory.

However,
There is a public github repo the altis life expanded furniture with that code if you would like to make the fix and request a pull merge.

You should look on file deletecontainer.sqf in core/action , there is an error _furniture variable is not set.

So i loved the idea and wanted to try it out in a SP map with Ravge cause it been a for ever wait for them to add a base build. I don't know if you have a list of Incompatable mods but you might want to add it to it.
What it does is messing with looting, it basically makes no loot spawn in the stuff you search, wont let you pick items up and place them if you do find loot in a car (when all there is packbacks) and finally it disables the ability to double click an item in inventory to use like food water bandage ect.
Just thought I let anyone know if they wanted to try this mod with it.

I am very sorry, the repo on github for altis life is what we have. I believe it shows the changes made to the original code.

Once you have the item in your inventory you double click it and it will attach to your player for building mode, then hit Spacebar to place it down. ESC will cancel it out.

@Godefroy,

Altis Life received better treatment, they have the eXpanded Housing System which adds furniture items and much much more to the lacking buidling mode.
Check out the altis life forum or this link for more info.
Not sure if Altis Life has updated since the last update but I have not seen anyone approach it having bugs at this time.

How do you actually place items once you spawn them in? Right now I have the item I want in my inventory. All I can seem to do is place it on the ground, which will place it in a storage crate. Anyway to unpack it and place the actual item inside?

This has broad compatibility for Arma 3 gamemodes and mods.
Some mods have their own building systems and thus when those mods are loaded up, I disabled the built-in building scripts as to not interfere with theirs.
I also made scripts to integrate the building scripts into their mods.

Any other mods being used at the same time?

Alright so I spawned a create, and put a building in my inventory. But when I double click on it in my inventory, nothing appears. How do I build the object?

I do not have any knowledge of the development side of things of the game, I am a player just enjoying people's creations on the workshops with some missions I put together in the editor. Basic ones at that.

Well I have to agree that might happen.
This mod overrides all base classes with new information or inherits, which then in turn modifies all classes that inherit from those base classes.

I would love to work "with" you on this situation.
Do you have any knowledge of Arma 3 or just a player enjoying the creations?

After using this incredible mod, I have ran into an issue when using this mod with Ravage Mod;

It seems, when having this mod enabled, loot spawning in objects that are vaguely similar to crates, almost everything, does not work, despite me, the player, having the inventory pop up signifying something is there.

After disabling your mod for a quick test, it seems it works without the mod being enabled. There might be something conflicting between the two mods. I hope you can fix this whenever possible, at a time you find convenient. Thanks for this wonderful mod!
