As another mentioned, this just slows yours and not the ai. Was using vox at the time, that may be why.

A good idea would be to make age slow down it's counting by 30% too. If that is possible. I noticed medieval era mod manages to slow down age count

It slows for everyone.

The AI starts the game with some bonus techs (this is normal default behaviour, not related to the mod), so it might give the impression that they are not slowed.

It should work with Vox Populi but not completely sure.

@Huggles ` Yeah it shouldn't be crashing your game, it's a very small, not to0 extensive only a couple of lines of XML possibly SQL depending on what route he took.

Crashes my game regularly for some reason when used.

For those who've been asking for a slower version but not as extreme as the other versions, it's a very simple mod. Just edit the XML file and you'll see that research speed is just a number, and you adjust it to the speed you want. For example, I set standard speed to be 175 (75% slower), applying similar changes to the other settings to get something closer to what I was hoping for.

But could I also tweak myself costs of wonders and buldings corresponding to science slowdown? I mean, i still want units to cost as intended, but make buildings and wonders cost increase +30% too?

just to be sure. This mod reduces everyones research speed not just mine? I am just asking as no AI player has fewer techs than me (though things are certainly not going well this game for me)...

Hello there Ellye - I enjoy this mod very much. I know it's annoying when people make requests but if you can manage to make a version of this that is around 50% or 60% that would be perfect. If you don't feel like doing so then I was wondering what value I would change within your mod to do so.

Wonderful Idea, however I have to agree with James009 - 60% would be slightly better.
Maybe I can subscribe this mod twice to get 60% :D

Could you do something in between 30% and 16%... maybe like 50-75% reduction in speed? I feel like 30% is too lite while 160% is pretty extreme. Also, does it effect espionage speeds? Thanks.
