@Fisch125, I can't explain the inner workings of your antivirus. However it is likely not happy with the executable due to the fact it is not digitally signed ( this signature costs money). If you are still skeptical, feel free to analyze the source code.

Antivira says no. It keeps detecting 6 viruses. Why is that?

What happened with the old version of this mod? That worked great for me. Now i can't use this

MOD doesn't work and having separate application to run does not work either. Just makes a weird color band at bottom of screen.

When I pres ctrl-f4 it does get bigger however the game will lag and I can't actually press any of the buttons on the UI at the bottom of the screen

@SOLDIER, The top UI could be made bigger in the same fashion but I choose not to because it is typically just a read only area. I wasnt expecting it to be difficult to see. Sorry

You cant make the top UI bigger? Its super important and I can hardly read it

@Asgard, yes i was unable to find a suitable workaround for that

its rly good, to bad it hides scores/villager/military info, that makes it kinda unusable for multiplayer

@Emanicus, so when you hit ctrl f4 you see a sort of red/blue gradient on the bottom of the screen? and ctrl f4 toggles this on and off, and once you hit ctrl f5 it closes the app? If thats the case the app is in fact running. Why it is misbehaving I am not certain. Are you running at 3840x2160?

@colttenney no, when I click the file nothing shows up in task manager but strangely enough when I hit ctrl f4 in game the strange colors show up but nothing rescales

@Emanicus, are you able to see it running in your task manager? Like in the video?

I can't get the .exe to run, even as an administrator. If you're still supporting this mod I would love some help

@Carey, Thanks for the kind words. Yes I do get a lot of requests for alternate screen size options and it is something I am considering. Just got to find the time to do it!

After watching the Youtube demonstration I think this mod is an amazing idea. Unfortunately I run a 2560x1440p resolution so the application doesn't work for me currently. Even at these smaller resolutions, I personally find the original UI difficult to read due to my poor eyesight. If you were to ever release a alternate resolution version I would definitely be the first person to download it. Keep up the great work!

@MMR You can change your system resolution so something smaller if you simply want everything to get bigger.

@colttenney OK, Do u know is there anyway can make middle gameplay protion get bigger?

@MMR Only the bottom UI elements will get bigger. The top UI bar (resources bar) will remain the same size, as will the middle gameplay portion of the screen.

@colttenney Do u have any updates for this app because it doesnt work anymore for my age og empire HD, everytime i use it only the bottom part going bigger, and the mid part and top part still keep same, as small as 4k resoulation. plz help!

@7deadinthewater5 yes it is planned. I originally left the top part small because I thought it was visible enough but there have been a few people asking about it so it is also on the todo list. Unfortunatly I have been busy with work and school so any update might be a little ways out.

Is there plans to support 3440x1440, also will the top part be made bigger as well

@colttenney Solved, it was the antivirus (bitdef). It doesn't judge it safe and delete it automatically when launched.

@red, that is strange. The only thing that can come to my mind is that .exe files are being hidden or you somehow don't have permissions to move them. But this sounds like a problem associated with your local file system settings, and not with the application itself. If the application is running you should be able to find it in your task manager.

@colttenney I've downloaded the file, but after the start, it disappeared from where it was located. Then i redownloaded it, but it was impossible to move the file to the previous location (desktop). I moved it to another folder, started it and then it dissapeared again. Redownloaded again and impossible to moved it to the second folder, as well as desktop. Actually i have to download it every time after use it, and have to save always in a different folder. Ah, and doesn't work always, even if started as administrator. Let me know

@Sereri, Ah yes good catch, I had not considered this ability. Go ahead at file an issue on github. Shouldn't take too long to add.

@colttenney hey, this is really nice. I'd love to keep the 4k res and still get a usable UI. However I have one issue: right-clicking on it, for example to give a command on the mini-map does (at least appear to) not work. Any chance you could fix that? I can open an issue on github if you want.

@Callahan, yes it is certainly possible and something I am looking into. I will have to poll and figure out what high resolutions people want supported. I just imagined that anything smaller than 4k would likely have a large enough UI.

Is there a chance that you will enable it for lower resolutions than 4k? I run VSR for amd up to 3200x1800. I really do like the larger field of view, but it is so hard to get any kind of ui scaling for the game..

@plygh, yes currently this only works for 3840x2160 screens.

also i have a 2k so thats probably why but i had to try

when i press ctrl f4 and magnify it, it just glitches out and shows some random color

@2001 ((ｅｍｏ ｂｏｉ)), with the exe running (check task manager to be sure it is running) while in-game, press Ctrl+F4. You might have to press Ctrl+F4 a few times depending on the state of the game when you launch the exe.

When i launch the exe, nothing seems to change in game for me
