Salvage 1 element becomes 50 shards salvage again becomes 50 element salvage again becomes 2500 shards. Exploit!

(Continued) ... and if no config-setting than maybe at least set it a little higher. Salvaging Master or Ascendend sometimes yield ridiculous amounts.

I really like your Salvage Mod. It's the only one allowing you a preview of what would result with the ability to abort. I tested most salvage mods and stations, you really did the best job here!

There is just one little thing which made a super-huge impact and really help us player a lot: Can you please add a 3rd config-setting setting the Inventory-Size of the Table.

[+2] For being able to see before salvage what and how much you get
[+1] For being able to salvage multiple items at once
[+1] For being able to salvage intermediary products like Metal, Paste into Raw Materials
[+1] For being able to salvage Blueprints if configured
[+1] For nice Wood-style Smithy-Like looking
[-1] For number of slots
[-1] For missing main yield config

Missing feature/options:
- Config Setting for Number of Slots
- Config Setting for Base Yield Return (why can only the Special items be configured)?
- Dedicated Config Setting for Yield for Blueprints only otherwise use default one

This is an excellent idea, I like the aesthetic and expanded function of this better than putting an industrial grinder in my hut ;)

You can not salvage most of the unused blueprints because there are too less free slots ... :steamfacepalm:

yeah it would be awesome to allow the number of slots to be configurable because as things get higher and go crazier you can have things that by themselves cannot be salvaged at all.

Still no storage option? Back when I used this, I found that the majority of my items couldn't even be salvaged 1 by 1, let alone all of them at the same time.

Nevermind, got it to work by <cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/SalvageStation/PrimalItemStructure_SalvageStation.PrimalItemStructure_SalvageStation'" 1 0 0> instead of <admincheat>.

For some reason the salvage table won't spawn anymore in my inventory. It used to run along well with my other mods. Any ideas?

I would love if we could change the stack size, salvage of some red gear cant be done-- We use the bush people mod, so lots of gear is able to be salvaged----

Personally would love if we just had the ability to modify via ini

Looks like the table doesn't (maybe can't?) take stack sizes into account when preventing some things being broken down that'd go over the slot limit with vanilla

Can this be altered?

It is a balancing act Yo Mom. I wanted to ensure that the salvage station isn't a better storage container than the regular ones. I believe the salvage station has the same number of slots as the Smithy which is also not able to to craft some top level items due to not having enough slots.

I won't be able to do any work on this mod for another week but I may be able to look into making the number of slots configurable.

Is there by chance a way to increase the amount the slots the table has? I got a few items that go over 45 slots and it wont let me salvage them, 1 needs 72 slots and another needs 84 :steamsad: lol

I absolutely love this mod! Finally we can get something useful out of those lousy drops. No problems so far on modded single player. I haven't salvaged modded items yet though (no need). Is it possible to salvage items from other mods?

Ahh, That may be an issue. I have code to stop you from getting water without a container as it is weird otherwise. It may be that the code is ending up with no valid items but thinks there should be.

Having the same issue as SeaLinkChan... We were able to salvage a couple items but then the server froze. The item in question that was attempting to be salvaged (when it froze) was a waterskin.

For some reason, using your table has crashed my server four times. We tested it and it doesn't matter if it's normal ARK things or anything from mods, but it doesn't matter: server crashes when I use the table more than two times in a row.

Mod now supports salvaging higher quality items. Also allows you to preview what you will get before committing to salvage.

I believe I can get the multiplier value used to determine resource cost for higher level items. I'll look into an update after I finish work on Pet Res and Pet Manager

It does use the base resource requirements for the items to calculate. I wasn't really aware that you could craft legendary items. I'll look into it and see if there is anything I can do. Perhaps I'll also look into creating a confirmation dialog that displays what you will get first.

@DragonHeart013 Yeah i dont believe it would be able to calculate each item as it is always given a completely random recipe cost. I think its just for vanilla items.

Seems to only take into account resources from the base level engram. Just broke down a legendary club which 140 wood and 351 fibre to make only to get back 3 wood and 2 fibre...
