I have never claimed the DV history is the most likely outcome -- far from it, because clearly that's the CSA getting crushed by the USA sooner or later. DV is just the most likely outcome that still has a Confederacy around at the start of the HoI4 timeline.
Have preordered Expansion Pack 2. Look for a DV No Compromise, No Surrender update soon after NCNS is released on 20 Nov.
Always adding stuff whenever I get inspired -- Been adding flavor events and reworking the CS Navy all summer long. And the October expansion from PI has potential for more.
Long as I can keep finding time to play, I'll keep adding stuff.
Do you plan to add more content? Or are you satisfied with how it is?
Not before 1936 -- that would be begging for the Big Blue Tsunami to "reunite the country." But in the mod, anything's possible.
One of the few things I miss about HoI3 is each country having its own elite unit. I used zouaves for the CSA, solely because my publisher at the time convinced me, "You won't come up with anything cooler than that." If PI ever brings back this concept for HoI4, I'm ready to re-add them. Though honestly, with the division designer, it's probably a matter of semantics at this point.
Thanks for all the info!
A couple of fictional names which might be appropriated would include Josey Wales, James Langdon and I cannot recall the name of the former Confederates from the writing of James Warner Bellah, but should reread them. Especially Spanish Man's Grave.
Now wishing that Cold War version of HoI had come out. Was all prepared to update the mod for that.
(Just watched the extended cut on 4K UHD.)
But I *will* be back, and I *will* update, so don't bail on the mod or think I've disappeared. :)
