I'll see if I can't get the log itself. If not I'll have to force another crash. I was wondering if capitalism stored any of the logs you see in the debug of LootSystem and what the highest debug option is. Either way I'm more then happy to help. For now I'm going to leave it on my most populated server Ragnarok which hasn't crashed from it yet.

@Starbuck, the problem is, that i can't go back to the old scan logic... since it did produce "latent action errors" on tick events. So i'm not sure when and if i'll find an alternative ^^

It should use sphere overlap too because when i pickup the loot actor everything show back. Re-installing it break the awesome spyglass again. We temporarilly changed the awesome spyglass for the super spyglass the time something could be done because on our 5 maps Capitalism is our difference between all other french servers, so we really want to keep it.

@Starbuck, you can easily test that. Pickup the LootSystem TreasurePot, restart the server and see if the spyglass is working again ^^

Maybe the Awesome spyglass is using a sphere overlap too, which wouldn't make sense... but who knows.

Does anyone know if there is a complete guide for this mod for a server build? Found a few post but they just led back to the first and it all became very confusing...would like have a complete guide step by step server set up.

We are using this mod also, Awesome spyglass and it seems to have break the dinosaures informations windows that show stats, prefered food, etc... Before the restart it was ok and It's only currency was updated, no other changes. Not sure if it use same code to retreive informations?

So I recently started using the dino garage mod for SP, have it setup not to use glory coins. I have been checking out the other modd and am interesting in using more of them for SP. Is there or could you write a guide for which of these mods are appropriate for single player (SP)? Thanks for these mods.. keep up the good work.

so I am still sometimes getting the crash but only on servers that people hardly play on. I am thinking it is somehow related to the fact that I dino wipe on each restart? Would it be best for me to disable dino wipes so frequently?

@HerpaDerp, i can't offer bank syncing via website, to much data to constantly serialize... that's not feasable. With your dropbox approach you should not need to change the savegame path since you are syncing it with dropbox already -> or at least you should be.

Would you consider adding cross server capability via your website for a charge, we don't have access for symlink (or whatever the Microsoft equivalent is) on our server. I've tried dropbox but when I put in the in the line UseCustomSavegamePath= and start the server and access the bank it just wipes it to https://

We've got 3 maps and would like the ability to use the bank please

I know that one Lagom. Hit reset on the table, or pick it up and place it back down. If you have custom tables you'll have to rr enter everything.

In caves that time might explode since there could be 300+ dinos within players rendering range...

means it could be that players won't get loot since the system didn't have enough time to scan all dinos with higher ms setting

@Vysse, you can guess how long it'll take if you multiply it with your average player base. Each scan iteration with e. g. 10 active players would then be:

10 * 30ms * 20 Wild Dinos in Range = 6000ms -> 6 Seconds for one iteration to check and distribute loot sets, then a pause of about 1 sec and it repeats that iteration cycle

updated all to 30 ms. I feel like I could go higher? How high could I go before it would be an issue? I mean I was thinking 100-200ms wouldnt be so bad?

@Vysse that can be caused by a multitude of reasons -> like map optimization, amout of other mods running (if they do stuff in the background too), or amount of simultaneos unstasised objects.

If the few left dino classes should get loot, this will result in way more loot buffs beeing distributed.

@impulse what would cause that to be worse on some servers more then others? For example I have 5 in a cluster on the same pc and dont experience lag often but on the two servers that this happened one of them is hardly used (The Center) the other is used but (and I mention this as I am curious if it is related) there are only a few types of dinos that spawn and they cannot be tamed or anything. They are there as meat and this server is meant for breeding and raising and all that. Is it because there are so many of single types of dinos to fill the void left by not having others.

@GH, for windows look up "mklink" and symlink the bank savegame folder from one server to the other. Or use e. g. dropbox to sync the bank savegame folder

Another issue is that I get server crashes with this error. It happened frequently on The Center and is happening now frequently on The Island

as for the Spino thing I have no idea. I am unsure what it would touch to cause that but for now I will tell people to use mutton. It might also just be Aberrant Spinos. Will confirm later.

Is there a chance to increase max slot number? I have huge farm, which requires a lot of fertilizer, which doesn't stack unfortunately. I use external feeding through, but that's still not enough. Could you increase max limit to 500? With this, it would be able to store enough fertilizer to support large farms for longer periods of time.
If not that, then maybe do you know any good stack mod that supports stacking of fertilizer?

Unsure what is the exact issue but currently setting down the Loot System will cause Spinos to not accept Argy Kibble as their best item for taming. It will go up slowly instead of going up the way it should. It seems to make it work like random kibble. This issue goes away when I pickup the Loot System but upon putting it back down within a few hours it is back. I tried removing Spinos from the list of creatures that loot goes to but am still getting reports of this. I will try and find more information if I can. Oh another thing. I noticed certain things like Alphas, Wyverns, and Bosses dont drop coins either. I am assuming this is something I am doing wrong however. Which dino should I use for situations where there are multiple iterations and parents/children? Thanks so much for this entire mod. It can be a pain to figure out but once you do it is great. My community is loving it... especially this one guy who is a investment bank IRL.
