Does the commands to disable VCOM on specific groups not work?

How does the AI behave in terms of conflicting systems when used with ACE? I know medical, mortars, and a few other things might conflict, but I'm not certain if there are any problems

@I-Q Hey thanks for letting me know a couple mods that do work with Vcom. :) Mods like the UNSC(halo) have errors when used alongside it, but honestly I'll take smarter AI with a little less content than dumb AI with more content any day.

@Khorne Flakes, Yes it does, and some units are even made for VCOM, and have things built into the units to make them function better than other units. I believe CUP and RHS both have VCOM units ;) It also works on editor placed units, and spawned units if you use Zeus or or the BIS_fnc_spawnGroup.

I have no issues on my end either, must be something wrong with the mission, maybe you're overloading the scheduler with triggers or something, or other functions, or, you're trying to use it on a mission that doesn't have VCOM in mind. To troubleshoot you should maybe make a small mission, and do some testing, I think the issue is on your end, or with the map being over furnished with objects.

He has videos online where he had like a 100 units on either side and he only noticed about 10 or so frames dropped. For what VCOM does it is great on frames, and doesn't overload the engine, if you're running it with ALiVE or something, that could be your issue if you're relying on ALiVE heavily, ALiVE is extremely taxing.

Post more details, so you can be better helped, it could be a lot of things depending what you're using as mods, and what maps you're using, and how the mission is made, could be anything, but it's not VCOM imo

I am stating that when I active this mode my computer started to give screen locking by dropping FPS. And then the screen freezes. Did I do something wrong in the CBA settings?

You can edit ai acting settings in-game at the addon settings, however for accuracy other than the mission slider you can only use the user-config.

Hi, our team use your mod very long time, we love it, but when we try to use headless client, the AI will very shake and lag, we use ACE’s function to maintain transfer job.

So I wonder, should VCOM only load on headless or, load on only server or both?

Why is there no way to adjust AI accuracy? Infantry are pretty fine, but the vehicles might aswell be lasers, and given vehicles using very deadly weapons you can imagine the terror of something like an attack helicopter gunner.

Is VCOM SKILL tab in CBA getting removed and has to be set via config or what is this? Is this a full release or a dev build, looking at GitHub that has more settings than this, if they even chose to show up sometimes.

This is a great addon. I am running the scripted version of this and I cannot imagine running the mission without it now it brings the ai to life. Is there any plans of expanding this to say add a ai commander or something like that?

@ProXz - Depends on the server type. For example, I have it on my Exile server, but clients do NOT need it as the SERVER spawns/controls the AI.

Can someone plz plz plz plz tell me how to stop AI from moving to stand beside vehicles? This stops me from making AI stand in strategic locations, they just run and stand beside a vehicle for no reason..... I checked in settings and cant seem to find the option to turn it off.

Enemies are actually flanking and can show up from somewhere you don't expect. Keep it updated mate nice job.

@Hakuna Matata - You still can and you do it as you always have been able to do. Edit the VCOM HPP file in you ARMA\UserConfig folder.

The mod comes with this folder which you MUST put manually in the ARMA folder AND enable the 'file patching' option in the launcher (which also will get you kicked from 99.9% of any MP servers). OR you can just go back a few pages and see how to NOT have to do this AND still customize your settings...if you do that, you will NOT be able to join any MP server with VCOM as it has been modified. I have 2 VCOM folders with different names. 1 'real' and 1 'modified'.

Are there no more addon options for this? I remember being able to customize the mod to my liking in Addon Options before a mission, but it's gone now.
