Mod is too broken at the moment :(
This is literally the only Mod I have installed.
I can only unhide them on the menu map as far as I can tell.

The logic behind the world map is that these definitions colour the roads regardless.
Be a pilot and subscribe to the mod and report back with the results?
For the Navigator or advicer as SCS call it.
Doing a quick file search I found entries in
..\material\ui\adviser
..\ui
files with advicer in the name.
For the road fragments, I tried a few things and it resulted in:

For discovered roads the colours are the base colours but with transparency.
For undiscovered fragments I use different shades of red as yours.
This work well IMHO, for fragments hidden under the roads they turn into a orange colour(as they mix hehe)
Maybe something you'd like to use.

Still the UI only hides the icons on the world map. Not the Navigator.
If I recall correctly this mod did this earlier?
Grey works for when there are a lot of areas not discovered, but not so much when SCS adds smaller fragments such as the view points, parking lots, both large and small.
therefore - yes, now, this modification only changes the colors:
- red - unexplored section of the road
- gray - explored
- white - current GPS path
The roads turn grey, but nothing else is different.
I guess the preview images are old, so I'm not sure what to expect.
What I don't see is any roads being red.
Be aware, your two vehicles will not proceed onto undiscovered territory!!
I tried a complete new profile with only this mod active and it works fine on the city selection map, it works fine on the gps/route advisor but as soon as I dare to open the map I'm back on the desktop.
upd. fixes are ready, enjoy! and thank you very much SCS for the new mechanics, now the game allows you to hide individual icons on the map without any mods ;)
