if i wanted to swap out the miniguns for another weapon how would i do that and still have the bot in working order?

Then report it properly on forums, attaching link to this build as part of STR, it's purely vanilla, so if crashes - blame keen :P

Its weird, I tried it an empty world - All good
Loaded up my scenario - pasted it into space - All good
Tried to paste it inside the hangar (its killed everyone and vented them to space) - Crashes

Perhaps some sort of assembly station that builds each segment then gently drops them together, so we'd have a means of production and they wouldn't blow up. It'd be quite an undertaking though.

You can't, it pretty fucked up :(
Broken script now throws "failed to load blueprint" error and rotor "stability" results in sudden explosion :(
All my reserve blueprints are corrupted too. But I still will try to restore it and update

I tried building it in regular mode, but I forgot the projector can't render out multiple grids. I tried working out some kind of segmented projector thingy, but it was just too frusterating.

Yes, you can use it, but make sure it's not exploding then pasting anymore :D

I wonder if it isn't the recoil impulse of the gun that causes them to break? I'll try making one in a world without block destruction and then deactivate the gun, then try spawing that on a normal world, see what happens.

Whenever I place them down they instantly detonate in place. I believe the origin is the rotor in the very center bit connecting the torso and drive train.

The same happens with Aragath's infantry bot.

This thing is terrifyingly efficient at what it does. Really hardy too. It took three missiles to make it stop firing.

There's no scripting, just add "detect small ships" on all sensors on it
