Spoiler text Use the pit and the angled section to get into the tractor beam then portal back into the pit coming up and once there it is quiet simple Great map I got stuck not using the pit and the angled section together.

I get the distinct impression that climbing the wall of the pit with carefully placed portals and flinging into the funnel was distinctly not the intended strategy, but it's funny that it worked and still makes an interesting solve.

Wow.

I severely overthought the final move after getting the cube into the second area. I was trying to figure out how to funnel over to the exit after getting the cube by the door.

Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees.

Nice puzzle. Thank you Mevious.

I swear this took me an hour. So much for going to sleep at a decent time. How do you do so much with so few elements?
dneufeldt Sep 24, 2022 @ 1:34pm
this one is a fantastic puzzle, really stumped me.
PortalDog Sep 16, 2022 @ 12:11pm
As always a great thought puzzle! Had to give up and come back about 4 times before solving this one. Dooohhhh!!
hd42 Aug 20, 2022 @ 9:36am
really struggled with this one. It was only when I tried to prove that it was unsolvable that I solved it!
Stan The Man Mar 8, 2022 @ 10:15am
Very nice map

Every time when im returning to this test, i always have to sit back and think for a minute, before i am able to solve it.

Genius map. Lovin' it :p2cube: !!

Your levels are so hard, but so satisfying when you solve them.

Really nice! Took a little while but very satisfying. Thanks!

Very well done, this took some time, your test chambers are very interesting!
Rooke Jan 12, 2021 @ 6:09pm
Had a hard time getting the spacing between the funnels correct, then by accident fell up into it.
Once that parts taken care of, it's a piece of cake.
FinEurop Oct 23, 2020 @ 12:44pm
So simple, yet so infuriatingly difficult. What helped me through the test was realizing that the funnel stays there even when using portals

Great one! Took me a bit of time to understand that one button is meaningless.

Had me going in circles for a little while.
Calwin Sep 7, 2019 @ 9:42am
It felt impossible for a little while, then I just slowly figured it out and it all made sense. Just figuring out what you can do with different places and building a toolkit to solve the problem. That's how the mind works, everything is a tool with a function.

I loved solving this map. Just the right difficulties for me!
SteemStream Jul 7, 2019 @ 7:44pm
I don't know why but this stumped me for a good few minutes, i guess I got rid of my portals when I shouldnt have and it really made me miss the answers.
Dark Rozen Mar 5, 2019 @ 9:05am
Very easy map, You should try to reuse the elements more and should make it harder.
Leo Jan 14, 2019 @ 12:59pm
Fun little map.

Figuring out what you need to do to solve this one is pretty simple. Figuring out how to get it done can be confusing. I was stuck for a bit, until I realized the ideas I had been mulling over would work only if put together properly. Great map.
tapmage Nov 19, 2018 @ 5:57pm
Meh, took 1.5 hours to solve this one, mostly cause I got stuck on the last move. But when I did solve it, I did a facepalm. Last part was easier than I thought, at least when you see it.

Never beat this map 2 years ago, recently picked up some good old portal and came back to my last enemy. Finally got it. What a great map!

I think everyone should consider the possibility that if you revisit these old Mevious puzzles and they seem easier than you remember, it's because you've gotten better.

Another fine puzzle from Mevious!

This map is so easy, that I even can't solve it. I'm not going to look on youtube, I have to find the solution on my own. Although I don't know how.

Mr Vapour Waterhandle Dec 24, 2016 @ 7:55am
Replayed this for whatever reason. Definately one of your hardest, took me a bit before knowing how to do anything, slapped my face when realising, then got stumped again. It's nice to see I got better at these though, as I remember this taking like an hour the first time, now about 15 mins. Well hidden indeed. A real fucker, but 99% clean and fair. I know about the technique to rethink certain steps. Actually restarting the map and performing something again revealed the solution. A good map, but those portable walls on the side next to the entrance are the real fucker, taunting you to push a cube off which can't be done, realising the dropper is underneath them, but respawning the cube and pushing a cube with a funnel will lead to nothing either. Only a vaguely acceptable red herring, to be honest. I'm not used to this from your maps. Not sure if its intentional. But still a good map.

Thak you very much!
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 29, 2016 @ 8:04pm
Once again you've made me stand around for a while looking for some complex solution when really it's quite simple. Not as long this time and it wasn't so bad. Difficulty for mw was intermediate. slightly on the line of mildly difficult. Very clever, I really love it though. Continue the good work!
moose9 Jul 2, 2016 @ 10:59pm
Another well made puzzle. Took a bit of thinking, well done.

Amazing excellent map. Great fun even playing it again after two years. Thanks!
Cranial Toxicity May 7, 2016 @ 1:12pm
Definitely among your hardest material. Leaves one extremely satisfied upon completion, because while the solution is very well-hidden, it's not counterintuitive or unfair. Another fantastic chamber.
not-paradiser Apr 27, 2016 @ 2:22am
Pretty happy I solved it in a comparatively short time.
WK2Trailhawk Jan 13, 2016 @ 7:38pm
Damn that was tough. Once again I was stumped and had to walk away to clear my head. Almost everytime I play one of your maps I get to that point where I think the chamber is unsolvable. I was so frustrated that I almost went looking for clues but I hung in there. This map took me a solid 1.5 hours.
