i know nothing about stargate but it seems to fit well with the tek theme... well i guess its the closest thing to the portals in my favourite childhood dinosaur show prehistoric park

For all those who die while going through the door to reach the lost temple: The map you are on does not allow it! I was able to go there on Ragnarok but not on Lost Island for example

Is it intentionally that when you place the gate it is faced backward? The swoosh comes out at the back and you leave the gate at the back. Should be swoosh on front, walk in from front and come out the front. Have to rebuild my two first gates now. So people consider this. Ofc it works, but is not 100% accurate. But this mod is a must have. Love it.

Is there a max number of Stargates you can have? If I wanted 20 for instance, is that possible?

I never expected to find so many of my Stargate people on ARK. Love the "only one way" discussion I found

@123 - Nope, huge Stargate nerd here. Energy could travel both ways (Radio waves, radiation, gravity, etc) but physical objects never could. There was always a dial-out. There may have been something early in the run where they did that by editing accident, but it's confirmed in the shows multiple times: one way.

therevlator is right. I'm a stargate geek, and even if I wasn't, most people who watch stargate should know that stargate wormhole travel is one-way. They stress this in many episodes

Stargate is 1 way travel. If they wanted to get back they had to wait for the wormhole to shut down.

Just FYI THe wormhole was actually 2-way in stargate.

It opened from one end, to the other, but you could travel back before it closed. There were a bunch of episodes where they would retreat back through the gate.

I have the same bug. On evrey map when I go to the Gate to the lost tempel i die.

@lore7460 I was having that issue for a while. The reason it kills you is because of the server's anti-cheat software. I think it was called anti-cheat mesh or something like that. I turned it off and it works now.

You can't get the puddle jumper since you die when you go to the temple. I've tried turning off all the anti messing stuff for single player but it didn't work. I looked at some other stargate mods but none of them have the jumper. AVP mode has a jumper but i like this one. Plus the other stargate mods are super resource expensive.

In the end I just decided to spawn in the jumper and the saddle. you can find the commands here

If you're dying when you go to the temple, my money is on Undermesh Killing. Turn off all the anti-mesh-cheat stuff.

This would be even better if u could use it to transfer servers in a cluster like gate to gate with in a base on another map

Why when I go to the temple does it die instantly?

how do you get artifacts for genisis 2. none are on the map as far as i know.

I have tried 5 times now to get to the lost temple, but when I go through the stargate I die. What am I doing wrong? Everything else works fine, including going to other stargates. :(

Dont put a jumper in a cryo pod it makes them lose their stats. went from 4k weight to 120 and couldnt use it any more
