I had a go at upscaling these images for the fun of it and in case anyone has interest in making use of them (e.g. to port to DE). Thanks to the author for making the source files available.

Probably they could do with some additional touch-up work on some of the finer details but you get the idea. Feel free to make use of these files as suggested by the original author.

Here comes the obligatory "Independant Architecture" comment if you haven't gotten a ton already. I'd like to see these applied to one civilization that uses the tileset, for each tileset, that you think would be most fitting. Have a nice mix of custom architecture but without 'totally' overriding the originals. I'd appreciate your consideration. In the meantime, great work!

This mod is absolutely amazing. Do you plan on also adding the updated architecture to the African, Mediterranean, and Eastern European Civs, like the Slavs?

Btw, if you have Draco's DLC Longevity mod, the Barracks (as they all look like small "Blockhouses"[AoE 3 reference], thus the mod makes these even more realistic. This mod is a job well done. Could you release the ME architecture seperatly?

Somehow the buildings of the Indian nation are still the original ones when I play 'em. Does anybody know where this is comming from?

indeed the archery range for the italians is now the arabians' one. It wouldn't bother me that much, but the colour sticks out so much compared to the bleached stone of the other italian buildings, and as that civ you're supposed to have a few of archery ranges around to amass decent amounts of archers - so it's a quite common sight.

Tried to fix it with the turtle pack SLP editor but the error must be somewhere, the game handles the building architecture set unproperly, as there is no modded slp for the italians' arch set.

You lose the cool looking fortress in this mod and is replaced with a second identical renovated castle. Is there a way to stop this? Plus the new seigeworkshop really sucks. Is there a way to delete these buildings so i can have them back.
Also is there a way to have the buildings only change to the full removation at imperial age not castle? because the small castle age houses look sweet too.

There is a bug! for some reason, the Italian (mediterranean) archery ranges are changed to the Middle Eastern Graphics. Please fix!!!! :-(

Is there a way I can remove the renovations on houses? I love all the other building mods, however the houses are too tall and I enjoy the originals better.

Do you want to earn some donation? Like 10 Euro for example for start? Here„s what i want you to do.
1. I want the western civilizations roofs to look like in this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=598911870&searchtext=&insideModal=0&requirelogin=1 for both feudal trait as well for imperial. How the roofs looks in your current mod i like it but for castle age the roofs from the mod i mentioned it looks like imperial thing and i want to look like that in imperial, you can ask the guy to give you his data since he copied you. Also the farms he has 3 different farms and i like them A LOT. In those screens only one tipe you can see.
2. Fix the bug i mentioned in my other post with italian archery building in imperial looking like Saracen Archery.
3. I like the spearmen as well the pikemans don„t like the halbardiers. Make their armor more silverish also their weapon is to black you can bearly see it put some resonances on it make it visible.

4. The persian elephants are not designed right, utleast their animation at front legs, when they walk they look like they got cramps, like they are paralyzed. To me it looks like they don„t have knees, their legs aren„t bending at all, also that white dress it„s to bright and to simple.
5. Mangudai unit look like they are heavy armored with that dress on them and we all know the secret in their conquest was their light cavalry archers. Make the horses with no dress on them or a bit in the front, their riders dress in white and the color you have in the respective scenario as for the horses make them white with black spots, after all they weren„t using real horses they were using pones or a cousin to horses.

6. Ram, battle ram, siege ram. Comparing those with onager /siege onager the only thing i really hate is that battle ram the second ram, it„s wheels are small when to onagers are made big without that iron layer on them. So make the same to battle ram, the wells looking big without the cover thing.
7. Monks make their outfit looking like papa from Vatican with cruxes and all that stuff on it also the Spanish Missionary monks the ones on donkeys.
8. You should revise some ships especially fishing ships, transport ships and war galleys.
9. Bombard canon can you make it a bit HD with some shapes on it„s clothes as well on the cannon, that would be great.

10. Teutons special unit i like it how it„s made don„t like the horns from helmet, remove those also the cape bring it back but only to cover it„s back, shield and sword still visible.
11. Siege tower i swear that is copied from empire earth 1 game. Put some shield on it, it„s wheels bigger, 2 people pushing from behind it.
12. Magyar Huszar unit don„t like it to simple i like the shield, the horse could be revamped a bit also the weapons bigger more complex could be switch with a big white axe..
13. Ethiopians/Malians special units look kinda the same do something about that too.

This mod has a bug to one of the buildings. Italian archery building looks like Saracen archery building, so fix that.
