Relapse, do you have any interest in continuing to update this mod? Several of the textures are broken and just appear black now. I really loved this mod and used it on several old models I'm now trying to update. If you could find the time I'd really appreciate it, or at the very least let SEModder4 take over as was previously requested. Thanks.

6 months since SEModder made the request, thats a fair amount of time. You can just take these and merge away :)

has anyone else had issues with some of the normal/mirrored versions having a different texture? (ex: 3to2x2 angled slope having a completely different texture than it's mirrored version)

@kris220b IF your proposed block were proportional in dimensions (1x1x1, 2x2x2, etc), then you would be correct. Look at the 1st and 4th pictures in his link. This is not a symmetrical object. Picture placing another one in front of it in picture 4. The surface area of the 2 angled triangular sides are different, and their geometry and angles are different. You can't rotate it in such a way that it would mirror the original block, hence the need for a "mirrored" version. One end has 4 sides, forming a square, where the other end has 3 sides, forming a right triangle. Not sure what you mean by mirrored.
The block would be the same if mirrored along a flat plane.

You mean a version where the empty space and the filled space is inverted?

@kris220b I know it's been almost a year, but I agree with your request, and would like a mirrored version of your request as well. (So the corner you're trying to join can also be clockwise!)

The textures for this have really depreciated since the HD update. Some are scaled wrong and others are just plain wrong.

Yeah, I love these blocks, but with the new textures coming to Stable, these old ones are really starting to hurt my eyes. Especially considering they don't even blend with the current textures well.

@Relapse please, if at all possible add a block to transition from the 45 deg block to the 1 by 2 ramps. I'm having a lot of difficulty in my current build trying to make things curve in more than one direction because of the lack of this block.

Some 3x3x1 split and half corner slopes would be a helpful addition too if they aren't already added. :)

Very cool that these blocks have been kept updated despite the broken hand!
Hope that's feeling better and healing well.
I've found that Digi's Armor Slabs mod complements both this and Uncleste's armor ramps quite nicely. Maybe put a link to that at the bottom of this mod's description as well?

Additionally, there's still plenty of "armor ramps" style blocks to be made.
There's no way to convert 1x1 slope into 1x2 slope, (or vice-versa) for starters.
That kind of block fits great with this mod, as it's merely extending the trends already set here.

It was the very last mod on my list of essential mods that was still in DX 9, but thanks to the hard work of both of you, I now have all I need for planets :)))).

i know its been a month but thank SEModder4 for helping me push a small update through. ill have to revisit textures but it should all be dx11 compatabile now

@Garrus thank SEModder4, was able to send me an update for dx11 in his free time, its not perfect seems ill have to revist texture mapping due to some changes but out of the goodness of his heart and his love for you all they should be almost ready. and at the very least you can use them in dx11 now until i can get to remapping textures

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to our questions!

Uncleste's ramps have already been updated for DX11, as were his other mods, I think.
This here is the last essential mod on my list that hasn't been updated, but I can of course fully understand the reasons as to why you couldn't.

So, I'm relieved to hear that the mod isn't 100% dead and that there's at least a chance that an update may come in the future.

I wish you luck with your work and thank you once more for your time!

ill look at SEmodder4, or if another modder wants to take over or collaborate id be willing to share my huge collection of files and models. uncleste's ramps would need a dx update too i imagine and you would need those to use use my expansion blocks anyway. as i just posted, not sure how soon i can get to these, but work should start winding down soon

hij can we ghet som split corners to ? fore som reason i cant conveurt 2x1x1 in a L shape to only 1 line so some moore split corners would be greathe 1 block from 3 to 1 or a 2 to 3 split slope :D
i know you wil say you have them but you do not have them all, cant make a 3 slope or split walking to the slop from 1 no and not from 1 to 2 and then to 3

I know you are probably busy with real life and thus don't have much time to redo the mod at our whim, but would it be okay for you to give a statement as to whether this mod will be updated for DX11?
It doesn't even have to be your own work, because maybe someone capable and willing like SEModder4 can take up this mod like it has been done with others, if you lack the time.
It’d be sad to see this great mod go.

This mod is the last one in my personal collection that I deem essential yet is not DX11 ready - it practically is the last straw for me using DX9 in my game at this point.
I could live with the statement that this mod will not receive a DX9 update anytime soon, and I am not entitled to the work, since you do this in your free time, so I could certainly accept a "no“ for to the Update to DX11.
This is no demand or anything like that, merely a friendly request for clarity :)))

TLDR.: It would be nice to know if the mod will receive a DX9 update.
