@Fus, known issue, unfortunately it's nothing to do with the mod, well, not exactly, most items are too big to pass through the small opening on cargo containers.

Put two extra large containers end to end and you can't drag anything from one to the other (large connection ).
Tested on small ship only

These still work, Textures need an update, as do build costs. I wonder if it would be possible to swap the texture of the Large Cargo onto this...

I like the idea of them flat cargo containers but I'd love if they had a version that wasn't so wide.

im not sure if the devs implemented this same change since this mod was released or not, but i had heard something similar about their volumes and did some quick mathing and they are all linearly increasing now. the small ship large container holds the same as the large ship small container, and the small ship smalls volume multiplied by how many of them would fit into each container going up matches up all the way to the large ship large container. what i do like about this mod is the different shapes of cargo containers, the pankake and the stick. similar to the compact small ship battery mod, allows for more flexible building. because why does a container or battery have to be a perfect cube right.

I just checked mine, it's there under medium cargo container, the icon is for the small ship so it's a little deceptive

@xeno, try looking under 'medium cargo container' it was only for small grids but dk added his in the open slot for large ships

when i was in survival it had a large ship large container holding over 4 million liters, is that a bug or something?

Not sure when it happened, but the other day when I was tweaking a local version (with vanilla based capacities) I noticed the textures don't really match the screenshots anymore. Specifically the "Cargo Container" text on the conveyor hatches appeared to be missing.

Did something change with the DX11 update in the past and I just failed to notice?

@7thCore It's not technically dead just outdated. I don't play the game very much anymore so I haven't bothered updating my mods. As far as I know it should still work but it might not be balanced.

That large ship medium container really is a complete godsend! not even joking! I use it absolutely everywhere. It fits so easilly into even smaller ship designs. its also easy to hide in roid' bases it has that perfect blend of inventory size that isn't too massive and yet spacious enough to comfortably fit the components of several other large structures inside. very much impressed. KSH pls add vanilla.

Hmm, I wonder if @eberkain 's problem was because of update 1.094; when they rebalanced the base cargo containers they had this note: "*Warning: The volume change for inventories will only be applied to new inventories. Inventories which are already existing in the world will not be affected by the change. " ... I wonder if this means they changed how loading games with changed cargo sizes works in general.

Would love to see this updated to the "new" volumes! This mod is one of those i always have in my worlds! Now i asume it will only add the Large ship medium container and the Extralarge one?

Firstly I'd like to say that I use this mod and love the fact that storage capacity is not reallistic, due to that fact that the year is 2077 and we have gravity generators. So it isn't that big of a strech to say we have spacial distortion technologies. It is along these lines that I would like to make a request for a mod that adds another full set of cargo containers, that removes inventory mass at the cost of being more expensive and lower capacity. Also, they might require power input depending on the volume contained, but I don't know how that would be handled if the player suddenly loses power and all the stuff is ejected.... =P Anyway, I just thought this is something people could use for when keen gets planets with natural gravity working and everyone is needing to worry about liftoff mass.

I dont have trouble using this with a new game, just stick it at the top of the mod list and its good. Adding to an existing world, no matter where I put it, seems to have inconsistant results, i even tried removing every other mod but this from the list of my existing world. Sometimes it shows the new capacities, sometimes not. My final solution was to create a new world with all the mods I wanted, check to make sure things were working right, and then copy my ship over to the new world with SEToolbox.

I am not using that mod. I tried placing your mod both first and last in my list, did not effect the capacity of large ship large cargo either way. I looked through my mods closely and I don't see anything that should effect the vanilla containers. I started a new game with just your mod and it does work correctly, so clearly it is conflicting with a mod in my current game. I created a collection for all the mods I have active in my current game, tell me if you see anything that may be conflicting.

@eberkain Do you happen to be using the Better Icons Mod? I noticed the other day that it conflicts with my mod unless my mod is above it in the load order. Even if you aren't using the Better Icons Mod I would try moving my mod to the top of your load order. It is possible that it is conflicting with another mod that does something to the cargo block definitions.

Added the mod to my game, see the new blocks, did not change the cargo space of my existing containers. EX: Large Ship Large is still 125k

@Uber Knight I'm not entirely sure how LoonyLadel did his mod but I believe that you need his "Realistic Cargo Capacities" and "Realistic Cargo Capacities Addon" to get the outcome you are looking for. You should not need my mod at all if you want realistic capacities. If you are still having problems I would try asking LoonyLadel.

Well I realized that im supposed to either have the DK Cargo mod or the Realistic Capacities.
So I decided to scrap the DK Cargo Overhaul for Realistic. Figured problem would be fixed but NOPE. I have the large ship medium cargo containers and HUge Cargo containers (Only ones with realistic proportions) But the other cargo containers are incorrectly proportioned, like vanilla proportions. I even made a new game with ONLY the Realistic Cargo Capacities in my load order and it's still wrong.

Idk what the problem is but this mod seems broken at the moment. Am I supposed to put the ODS Cargo Calc file in a different location to actually get its values represented in game or what? This is really beginnins to frustrate me.

Im having a problem,
I have DK Cargo subscribed and Realistic cargo capacities. However the only containers that have realistic cargo volume is the Huge Cargo container. All the others are scaled to the DK Cargo volume space, I've tried moving them around in my load order to no avail. Even went into my mod folder to see if the Spreadsheet settings are different but they have the correct values for realistic volumes, its just the values are not being reflected ingame whatsoever. Basically all the realistic addon is doing is adding the new containers and for some reason the DK cargo containers are taking priority for some reason

Don't know if somebody reported that dupe bug: when placing a container you get more interior plating in them already then should be. By grinding structure back you get free components. Applies to all containers exept small. And the bigger the container - more components you get for free.
