+ taunt kills don't win anything lmfao
Small issue : It's a pay to win taunt.
His intention is to kill someone with this minigun swing so it would make more sense for him to swing the big circular part with all his force as its bigger and let his body go with the momentum rather than awkwardly stopping to hit enemies directly with the front part. It also just communicates DEATH better to any enemies about to walk into it.
Regardless, I do really like the idea and im mainly just struggling with the execution and how it looks.
I do think Heavy would do this in his usual moments of getting way too engaged in violence, but I think the executions a bit sluggish. Obviously these heavy ass miniguns are indeed heavy, but I think a bit more oomf should be put into the hit. Heavy seemingly slows down towards the end of the swing causing it to look as if the worst this could do is knock you back rather than knock your ass out. I assume the issue is probably that Heavy's arms would stretch too long so you pulled it back towards the end to keep it from getting too cartoony like he has rubber arms?
batteringun: 4.100
fingergun kills a little before 2 seconds. batteringgun kills a little after 2 seconds.
thx for the anim critique jams & DJ

My point still stands, however. While this is slower than his Fists taunt, the fact that you could technically still use it while not having the Fists, Apoco-Fists, Saxxy or Holiday Punch equipped / active means there is gameplay advantage, even if just a little.
Anyway, I like the idea and I wish there were a way to implement this in-game that didn't involve paying for the taunt or overwriting the stock minigun taunt.
My only question here is: will this taunt work without holding our primary?
With other taunts, it dosen't matter what weapon you're holding for it to work. This one however, feels like it needs heavy's primary in hands to activate. But that would make it somewhat of an advantage, even if it takes a while to do the said "advantage" lol.
Despite this minor criticism, I really love how it turned out!
Instead of being a taunt to pay, I could see this post as a suggestion for Brass Beast taunt replacement? The gun slows you down and has heavy feel to it when compered to other miniguns ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
It could go against heavy's personality maybe (that being naming each minigun and caring for it like it's child)? But having a diffrent taunt for at least view of his primaries, would be a nice change of things if being honest.
I fear that his first pose (when he arches forward) could be confused for the minigun's default taunt, confusing players and decreasing the amount of time to react.
It is somewhat concerning however, that an item that has direct involvement in the gameplay is locked behind a paywall - especially as a taunt that is quite fast. For instance, if there was a paid sniper taunt kill that did not require the huntsman to be equipped, then it would technically pose as an advantage over other players who don't own it - after all no sniper rifle has a taunt kill attached to it by default.
That aside, I wouldn't be super upset if this got in anyways.
Also, I feel like it's a bit harder to tell at a glance that he's about to do the kill taunt versus just using the gun normally?
