@Brownb3ar Hey! To complete the "Nice Hair" challenge, it's mostly just luck. One of the Merchant's dialogue bubbles, when displayed, will complete the challenge. Keep playing and you'll get it.

@Cany did not expect you to reply at 4 am. I am playing 1920x1080 on borderless fullscreen. The mod just doesn't show some skins. Might be because of my locale (its Turkish). the error is this:

In turkish there's two "I" and "i"s as this, I think that's the problem. "Iıİi"

@U77654 I just pushed out an update that makes it so even if you can't open external links, the challenges should still refresh. Please update the mod and give it a try.

The "watch an add to refresh the daily" does not work when the game runs through the Flatpak installation of Steam. Would it be possible to have the goals refresh even if the Steam page doesn't open correctly?

@胡桃·卡斯兰娜 In the mod's config menu, there's a button that is invisible until hovered over. It SHOULD be in the bottom right corner or so of the mod config menu. If it's not there, let me know, it may be a resolution issue (I've only tested on 1920x1080)

@VommyMommyLover If the Daily Master challenge was already cleared (which I assume it was as per your previous bug report), clearing all the dailies won't trigger a refresh. The Freeloader check only happens when a weekly challenge is completed. In other words, you may be out of luck until the next weekly refresh, or you can trigger it manually via config.properties manipulation, as described earlier

@Cany - It seems like the issue still persists. I cleared out my latest dailies, they were "Victorious", "Combo" and "Purification" and yet "Freeloader" hasn't been cleared yet.

@VommyMommyLover Ah, I think I found the issue. Freeloader should work most of the time EXCEPT if you also have Daily Master in your weekly challenge list as well, which I am assuming you do, since for some reason Daily Master doesn't count as a possible completed weekly challenge in the Freeloader checks. That's unintended and will be fixed in the next update

@Cany - Glad to hear you enjoyed the Dreamwalker! By the way, I think I found a bug. The weekly quest "Freeloader" which requires finishing the other 2 weeklies doesn't seem to work, I pretty much cleared all available quests except for that one.

Francis has many voice lines about things he hates with I Hate Stairs are just one of many. so in a way yes it is even tho it was unintentional

@Bento Baker Praymordis Spice of Life is too similar to the new "Neutral Party" daily challenge, but I Hate Stairs isn't a bad idea for a weekly. If I remember I may add it into the next update, though 200 is too little a number I think. Maybe, like, 300 or 350 is better. Thank you for the idea! Is that a Left 4 Dead reference by any chance btw?

@VommyMommyLover You're welcome! Your character, The Dreamwalker, was actually one of the inspirations for this mod, I love it when mods incorporate different skins.

@VommyMommyLover Yeah, it should clear and be removed on your next daily refresh. They won't come back after that.

If you want it removed ASAP, assuming you are on Windows, navigate to the following directory:

C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Local\ModTheSpire\Spirepass

Then, open the config.properties file in Notepad or your preferred text editor, and delete the line that starts with "lastDailyRefresh". Save it, then re-open the game.

@Cany - Sadly the storytime quest is still showing up for me, I assume I need to wait until tomorrow? Is there a way to reroll the quests?

@Lizarb Yes. AI played a major role in the making of this mod (just like all my other mods). I don't have any formal programming knowledge, so nearly all the code is done by AI. Additionally, the Korean translation is done by AI as well as portions of the Chinese translation.

The visual aspects are all done by me, though.

Fun idea for a mod but I do gotta ask: was there any usage of AI in the making of this?

@VommyMommyLover Done. Latest update removes the "storytime" challenges from the daily pool. I may have misjudged how funny it would be to have the screen filled up with text like that.

Can you please do something about these annoying storytime quests? I can't see the other quests due to them taking up the entire screen. Maybe link their appearance to another option in the settings?

As for the skin ideas you provided, I'll admit they are certainly better than the last batch you provided, but generally speaking they're just not...humorous enough, for lack of a better term. The intent of the rewards is to either be funny in some way or at least be a reference to something, not just a recolor for the sake of being a recolor. Also, very small changes like giving the Champ a belt or Time Eater a toupee aren't "drastic" enough to be skins, I think.

@Bento Baker Praymordis (Part 1/2) Thanks for the suggestions. I'll comment on your challenge ideas first by describing my general challenge design philosophy (which is very loose considering that this is an April Fools mod at the end of the day):

I try to make daily challenges (at least the non-troll ones) realistically doable in 1-2 runs and weekly challenges doable in 5-10 runs.

Daily/weekly challenges should be accessible to both those who play mostly vanilla AND those who play mostly modded. "THIS IS WHO I AM" isn't doable on modded characters who may not have Form cards, "Extra Options" becomes less doable the more the pool is diluted with non-campfire relics, etc, so stuff like that I try to keep in mind. Also, I try not to make the challenge reward you for losing or doing poorly, so "Roll with the Punches" would be disqualified for that. And "Big Collection" is a bit redundant when the "Hobbyist" daily challenge already exists (Add 15 cards to your deck)

I have a few more suggestions to consider adding with some of them being challenges.
THIS IS WHO I AM (daily challenge): play a Form card.
Roll With The Punches (daily challenge): Take 50 damage in combats.
Extra Options (weekly challenge): perform 15 campfire actions with shovel, girya or peace pipe.
Big Collection (weekly challenge): Have at least 30 cards in your deck.
Champion Belt Champ (skin): Now you know he's the real deal.
Blue Fire Hexaghost (skin): Hotter then ever before.
Albino Byrd (skin): A rare genetic phenomenon.
Brown Robed Chosen (skin): Made from tanned leather.
Toupee Time Eater (skin): Time manipulation apparently accelerates hair loss.

@Not Falco It's a troll. It's an unwinnable challenge which also has a description so lengthy that it can push other challenges off-screen so you can't see what they are. April Fools! :)
