If there were "styles" for taunts, they could have added the other version too, I suppose.

The condescending version is better but good to see the original creator got credit this time given who worked on this variant.

I think it's a little over animated if that makes any sense. But still really good

well, this is a taunt. but hear me out. while schadenfreude taunt is so versatile you can use it for pretty much everything (teammate killbinds, enemy trolldier fails to hit you, teammate misses a shot and dies) and it's still can be looked from other perspective and be understandable. while claps within battlefield with noise, explosions and scream wouldn't be noticable. and people will pretty much keep using schadenfreude instead of claps, cuz it's more versatile

This is a great taunt! Such a no-brainer imo, don't ever let workshop nitpickers demotivate you!

its really hard to take the taunt seriously if there are other movements taking away from the idea of clapping

The idea is pretty good. But as always with many new taunts its too overly animated and looks out of place. Its a no from me sorry.

This taunt is great because it is multi-purpose.

When a group of people use it at once, it will be because something genuinely impressive just happened that prompted everyone to do it.

When one person uses it, they're likely being sarcastic, making it a 'taunt' in the traditional sense of the word.

I hate it when taints do too much. Just have the class clap, no pointing with the scout, or extra bodily movements with the pyro just have it get straight o the point and have them clap. These are taunts not emotes.

so I take that this was made because the older one, the condescending clap, despite what I'd believe to be in the game by now given the reputation of it just didn't because of it being too old or something else?

Great taunt, my only gripe is how the Medic is animated. I mean, I guess it's cool that Medic takes off his glasses (including most glasses cosmetics), but I think it's getting a little repetitive how many times we are seeing taunts where Medic takes off his glasses.

Not sure if his reaction really matches well as a clapping taunt too. Sure, Medic is shocked that the team won, I suppose, but I'd go with another reaction than just taking his glasses once again. That's just my 2 cents, however.

i love taunts like this that just have alot more use and purpose behind it, can actually be expressive instead of just a gimmicky prop (while i do like those kind of taunts if theyre done right.)

I like the personality (animation acting) that was put into each merc's clapping.

I like the cosmetic but I don't like how they only focus on the pyroland personality of the pyro too much, forgetting about other aspects.

Ngl I would want to see both versions in the game. One cheerful and one sarcastic. Maybe under different name so both don't have so similar names.

Yet another banger from Kylul. A well-animated taunt that functions as both an actual honest-to-god TAUNT and a fun way of showing respect to skilled players/teammates. 10/10
