Wow, what a great demo. Shows off pretty much everything advertised.
The character creator is solid, I look forward to seeing more customization options in the full release. I like how you can squash and stretch cosmetics to better fit your character. That's nice.

I love the charming dialogue, and the seemingly unhinged host NPC, Astron.
The concept that we're defeating viruses and whatnot reminds me of my friend's game, Kila Flow.
Obviously, however this game executes (haha) the concept much differently.

The fast paced melee/ricochet combat combo'd with bullet-hell arenas is incredibly fun. And the first boss available in the demo is fantastic. I love how the fight evolves overtime. I love that it's not a quick fight, and while it's challenging especially with modifiers, it's not impossible. Your ability to dodge is quick and responsive, and the boss's attacks are well telegraphed, even when there's a hundred something bullets on screen. I also LOVE the music. You can't have a bullet-hell without some banger battle tunes.

The platforming in the overworld is also fun, and I enjoy the social aspect of the world as well. The fishing mini-game, while simple, is enjoyable. And I like the fish puns. Very silly. :3

This game is incredibly charming. And I look forward to the full release.
