I honestly don't know rn, I had made an integrated patch a few months ago but I haven't updated this version of the mod or played baro in a while, I am still working on the 2.0 update so this one is getting a bit neglected

is this compatible with immersive repairs? if so, what order should I put them in? I tried using the welding mask and I still retained eye damage when welding.

Oh disregard my comment below, I'll leave it there if it can maybe answer questions of other people but scrolling a bit I realised that I put an oxygen mask on the patient's face, blocking the operation.

I followed the procedures for eye removal surgery on the trello but it seems I cannot get past the step 4. Medical skill 100, precision eye scalpel will not do anything, smae for the tweezer step just before that. Also, I cannot complete a cornea incision. Any help?

For some reason when I use the "advanced eyeball extraction device" on dead people it doesn't work? You just need to use it in the health menu right?

im having an issue where the global darkness integration is not doing anything it just does not seem to work the only other mods i have enabled are the lua neurotrama and better health ui please someone tell em how to fix this

Global Darkness Reboot should be toggleable in the campaign settings. Can't get to the next outpost to buy flashlights and batteries when the ship doesn't have enough lighting or relies on ambient light. I was lucky the starting outpost had a heavy flashlight in a trash can, unfortunately heavy flashlights have focused beams, I fall down a hatch, break my legs, scream in horror, and become dead.

Transplant surgeries have been compacted, you don't 3 items to do a surgery anymore, and overall the mod has been balanced (not fully as it is still a beta, but by the release it will be complete). Also multipurpouse scalpel can now be used for eye surgeries. There also are a lot of new eyes added (watcher, charybdis, latcher, hammerhead etc.), NVG and Thermal eyes have been turned into eye lenses instead, and a new type of mechanically enhanced eyes have been added to act as a stepping stone between cyber eyes and human eyes. These are off the top of my head, I'll list the whole changelog once the update releases.

My consensus will likely be that way as the zoom feature causes too many compatibility issues to be worth implementing and patching. Gameplay wise the way eye damage is taken and eye surgeries performed has been changed, now each eye tracks its own damage and dies based on a chance when above a certain damage threshold instead of just dying, and physical damage applied now takes resistances and armor into account (I haven't uploaded this to steam yet, but it will be).

I would say don't implement it and leave it to players to either get their own zoom mod or not have one at all. Also if you don't mind me asking, what if anything gameplay wise has changed from this version?

For human it doesn't matter (as long as they don't have anything covering their eyes, i.e. an item in the head slot), for monsters they need to be dead, however spoon's hit recognition as it is right now doesn't work well, I am currently working on an update to fix this issue.

It would be nice if eyes can be removed from dead bodies, like NT Cybernetics does with their limbs (maybe only bionic eyes with some kind of items like a magnet or idk)

100 medical is likely not enough, to have a chance you need to be close to 200, although I don't remember the code exactly

i was 100 medical 100 surgery skill so just bad luck on my part, but at least i know now its theoretically possible and to keep trying maybe have more gel ready to go because i ran out of that stuff and decided it must not be possible while blind, but im glad to know its possible just bad luck on skill checks.

being blind reduces youe skills drastically, you likely are failing the skillcheck to apply the eye gel, in theory it is possible to do the surgeries solo, but it is a slim chance unless you have a really high medical skill

curious question if your solo im guessing you cant install your own cyber eye? i got as far as removing my own eyes, i had my hot bar set up to do the install in order, but im guessing i cant actually do the gel - muscle - nerve stuff can i

Are you sure your are doing the surgery correctly then? Does the lens item disappear after you install it in the Bionic Eyes? If you can't install it at all then you likely are doing the surgery wrong. Check Trello if that is the case.

no nothing helped I even deleted all the mods except for it and there is nothing no sound nothing I insert the lens itself but nothing maybe something else is needed how to insert lenses

I have just tested all the lenses out and they seem to work for me, possible solutions for your problem could be:

1. Try reinstalling the mod from Main Menu -> Mods -> right click on NT Eyes -> View details -> Reinstall (top right)

2. Make sure that you have installed client-side lua, I infer that you do, as you said you have Cs activated, but check again as when you verify the integrity of the game files or the game gets an update client-side lua gets removed, if that is the case you just need to reinstall it, cheers.

If what I have written does not solve your problem check if the "beep" sound plays when you press F after installing the lens.

I have everything installed, both lua and Cs, and nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I insert the Bionic Eye, then insert the lens and press F, and nothing. I checked the lens, it doesn't work, the rest doesn't work either. Maybe I need something else?

It is a bit finnicky, as of now the spoon won't work on creatures that are added by other mods (it only works on vanilla creature), I will change that in the future and add a better hit recognition system (rn it is bit hard to get a perfect hit, so you may need to try a few times, aim for the head)
