The errors are caused by Medieval Overhaul itself, most likely. They are in active development and constantly change things that break submods.

Ferny also has to constantly keep patching his mods because MO keeps spawning new errors. But according to him, these errors are mostly harmless and can be ignored. Not sure about this mod, but I'm willing to keep it.

Even if the author updates, MO team will likely just break it again anyway.

the "DankPyon" errors did go away for a bit but yep, now they are back. Something happened to restart the errors popping on game start-up.

Still playable though, and with no issues (although the <Metal> Golems have stopped spawning as well ...), so at least its not game-breaking (aside from the Golem thing).

This needs an update. I'm getting several cross-reference errors for "DankPyon_Book" defs when it's active.

Any fix?

Hey In the image there looks to be a issue with the battle juice, and the small red dots thing. It looks like the singular one with the red dots and the one with both battle elixer and red dots have been swapped, sorry if im being confusing.

Changing the label is safe,and the newly added storage unit defname is concatenated with _ASF(Such as DankPyon_RusticCupboard_ASF) this is new addon with a new defname.So,There is no harm to MO.

@POLICE 107 No,The main cause of the previous version's issue was a partial problem with Progresin Storage, and I mistakenly adapted it for compatibility, resulting in errors. Now that I have removed my adaptation patch, please do not use it with Progresin Storage. I haven't encountered any problems with items stored in RusticFurniture, such as wardrobes, end tables, bookcases, etc.

@King DaMuncha In my code, I did not change all the storage categories in RusticStorage. I only modified the texture displayed by the storage units in RusticStorage in MO and added several storage units that can be stacked for display. The only major overhaul I made was some units in RusticFurniture that can store items, so the items in RusticStorage did not appear in Storage with me.

Hey! Just reinstalled the mod. Looks like it's working fine now with Medieval Overhaul so far. However, when clicking on a closet, I'm only seeing the "Contents" tab and not a "Storage" tab, allowing to choose what's placed inside or not.

Just to make sure, you said you now fixed the compatibility errors with Progression Storage. Might this mean I need Progression Storage to get the closet to work appropriately?

@King DaMuncha You can probably fix that with tab-sorting(maybe rimmsqol too?) and make a new category as a temporary measure. Could also use i aint building that and remove storage you know you wont ever build.

Thankyou for updating the mod. However all storages have been moved to the "storage" category and "Rustic storage" is empty. Before the update on the 13th, all storages were in the "Rustic Storage" catagory and "Storage" was empty. But at least the game works. Though the storage buildings now cover my screen and I cant see where Im placing them.

I'm really grateful to all of you who have been keeping an eye on this mod and trying to fix it or make it compatible. Because of some problems with Ferry's Progression Storage, don't use this mod together with Ferry's Progression Storage. Thanks to King DaMuncha for reporting the error and the MO author for the timely reminder. I wrongly fixed the compatibility of Progression Storage, which caused errors in the original mod. It's fixed now. If there are any compatibility issues with other mods or errors caused by this mod, please leave a message. Thanks again for your continuous attention and help.

Progression Storage cant run with LWM deep storage and I require LWMs Deep Storage for many of my storage buildings. So that one is a must. Please remove the dependency on Progression Storage. Its outdated and broken.

Alright this is a damn mess.

Shelves from MO cant be built with Progression Storage activated because that mod is broken, theres no extra menus to select the storage containers from which is what Progression Storage is supposed to do. And now Adaptive Storage Graphics mod requires that broken mod to run without ThingDef errors when game loads.

Upon loading the game I'm hit with a pile of new errors in the log because Progression Storage is outdated and doesnt support this Graphics mod which changes all the storage names.

This mod and the MO main were the only mods in my list that were updated in the last 2 weeks that have anything to do with storage. and the MO author insists they haven't changed anything to do with storage. Other users in the MO bugs discussion say that disabling this mod fixes those errors.

Just confirming that after troubleshooting this on the main community discord that this mod was the cause of the rustic storage tab getting removed. Yes it may be other mods that are renaming the storage group but this mod is the culprit when used with that mod.

At present, it seems that this mod only has some logical errors such as texture item verification, and it is rare to encounter errors similar to the following. If such errors occur, it is highly likely that some mods or patches have modified the original code of the mod, resulting in red characters, or that the MO original mod has modified the def of the item. However, these are basically unavoidable.

Take a closer look at your error message. You only displayed errors in all items under the DankPyon RusticStorage storage category in the original MO. However, this mod even modified furniture in the DankPyon RusticFurniture category to become storage units. If there are storage issues with this mod, both storage categories should be experiencing errors. Ferry's storage mod has just modified the categories of all storage units under DankPyon RusticStorage and moved most of the storage units to Vanilla furniture expanded props and decorations. Therefore, the storage unit logic of this mod cannot find its own built-in storage category because other mods have modified the storage category, causing it to generate an error. So this error is most likely caused by Ferry's mod, and the mod author is currently making it compatible with Ferry's mod, so please wait for the next update.

Yes, it seems that the error is not related to this MOD. This MOD did not change the storage category, it must have been caused by other MODs or patches changing the storage category of DankPyon-RusticStorage in MO. I have already provided feedback to the author. At present, the only thing I know is that the storage patch of Ferry has changed this storage category.

Hey! Love this mod, love that closets actually hold stuff now. A huge difference!

Just wanted to add to the conversation - not sure how well known it is - but I'm also experiencing the same issue - errors in reference to Medieval Overhaul. For me, it causes storage buildables to no longer be placeable, and are no longer in the Storage tab. However, any already placed storage places are still usable, fully functional. But you cannot copy-build.

Looking forward to the update! Thanks for making this.

I have been extremely busy with work over the past few months, which has led to a temporary halt in the updates for the current MOD. The texture issue actually originates from the storage logic of ASF. The errors in displaying or not displaying textures may also be related to the relevant MOD updates. I will spare some time to fix it.

Sorry, I have not been able to look at this, much less play anything for very long. I see someone did some testing, do we know what the diagnosis is, and possibly a remedy? I would love to continue using this mod, as it is very useful.

Also, you are right, *I* cannot use bookshelves to store books, or see them in it. But interesting you bring up the barrels, as those work ok and I can see the materials that are in them.

What should be done to fix this, and is there a particular mod load order that should be used? (I refuse to use RimPy or the other one, as for some reason, they do not work for me)

nah its actually the progression mods on their own, but the book errors are from this mod

ok tested a bit, seems to require patches if using with ferny´s progression mods. rustic furniture is moved to furniture by uhm, i think all of them somehow=error since this mod doesnt find it where expected i guess. also some MO buildings are in the props category when using progression asthetics, mainly those filled barrels and the like. that probably also caused some of those errors i had while testing. tbh, i didnt really test without the progression mods but i suspect its them

those are the research books, did u guys by chance toggle this patch from mo togglable patches that removes them?(if u did those errors might be harmless i guess) or maybe their defs got changed, which would mean u probably can´t see stored books in bookshelves..? i planned to deactivate those books anyway so i dont rly care, sry xD

Also have the exact same issue as @Nin. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out which mod was causing these errors, but its causing a number "DankPyon.ThingDef" errors. Its not game-breaking/crashing, but it does toss a bunch of errors.

I have a bizarre issue where the same exact same storage building, with the exact same contents, will have one switch graphics and the other not. I really don't know why, but I thought I'd mention it if this is a known problem, otherwise I'll attempt to fix it on my own.

GitHub的性能鱼作者最后更新 更新日志写的是( try to fix )但是我没有下载那个版本 我自己的旧版本鱼 已经把这几个设置关掉了。
