I no longer have a bill on any workbench to auto-recycle items. I used to be able to add bills to the Tailor's workbench but it is no longer there. Fluffy's Work Tab is not updated to 1.5 so I haven't tried it yet. It is kind of a pain to micro individual recycling of potentially hundreds of items. Anything I can do? Thanks.

Its sad that colonist isnt training crafting skill during recycling.

This causes a conflict with Questionable Ethics Enhanced for some reason?
David 19. maj kl. 9:18
@Guezzy Just in case you were curious, you can only smelt metallic items in base game :) including apparel. This mod is “recycling” as in, you can recycle any material. (because not all weapons and apparel are metal, and this includes guns.) Last time I checked you can also get components and more than one material from recycling.

Thanks for saving this mod
Mehdi 5. apr. kl. 9:06
@Mlie Ok, no problem buddy. That's actually why I made a fork in the first place. I'm using this mod in a modlist for a multiplayer server, and I didn't want to bother you with changes.
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. kl. 9:02
@Guezzy Sorry, I dont really have time for this.
Mehdi 5. apr. kl. 8:58
what's the difference between smetling and recycling according to you ?
Mehdi 5. apr. kl. 8:58
Description of the mod : "It uses all vanilla values to calculate refund (around 25% of recipe) and job speed to make almost identical to vanilla bills (Smelt or burn weapons/apparel)."

Recycling = Scrapping apparel (not vanilla) or Smetling weapons (vanilla)
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. kl. 8:57
@Guezzy Smelting yes, recycling no
Mehdi 5. apr. kl. 8:55
Weapon smelting is vanilla tho
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. kl. 8:49
@Guezzy Recycling of anything is not vanilla afaik. Just dont recycle apparel and you should be fine
Mehdi 5. apr. kl. 7:56
Hey Mlie, could you please add the option to disable the recycling of apparel just like you did with components. Cause appareil recycling is not vanilla.

Thanks a lot <3
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 4. apr. kl. 22:49
@cptpapadakis This is for apparel and weapons only
cptpapadakis 4. apr. kl. 18:39
hell it looks like when i use the recycle order it doesnt register slag chunks
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 31. mar. kl. 14:14
@GUleiduoDaze Its on the todolist
GUleiduoDaze 31. mar. kl. 14:12
I'm using <pick up and haul> and <awesome inventory>, could these be the reason?
GUleiduoDaze 31. mar. kl. 14:07
I'm selected many weapons on the field for recycle and some are immediately reserved by my lifters hauling to storage. The "recycle this" orders disappear after a lifter touch it.
Anyway to fix that? Thanks!
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 28. mar. kl. 13:50
@VeggetoSSJ The normal smelter, not sure there is support for helixien gas
VeggetoSSJ 28. mar. kl. 12:37
i have a Electric Tailor Bench, a Crafting Spot, a Gas Smelter (Helixian Gas Mod), yet none of these seem to be viable workbenches to recycle clothing. Any other workbenches i might be missing?
BlueCheese 22. mar. kl. 18:21
Ah got it, thank you!
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 22. mar. kl. 16:07
@BlueCheese The workbench needed for recycling an item is the same that you use to create it
BlueCheese 22. mar. kl. 15:54
The description says we should be able to recycle clothes at a crafting spot--is this all we need? I'm getting a message saying "no workbenches available" and disallowing the recycle action for clothes when I have a crafting spot set up. Not sure if I'm missing something. Thanks!!
VatskiySas 22. mar. kl. 3:22
Seems like you are correct. Sorry for bothering and thanks for keeping your mods updated!
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 22. mar. kl. 3:09
@VatskiySas Did you check your mod-version? This should be fixed in yesterdays update
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 21. mar. kl. 12:46
@GalacticSeal Should work better now
I AM THE HYPE 19. mar. kl. 15:56
@Mlie https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2842502659 i THINK it's that one, but i could be wrong.
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 12. mar. kl. 22:54
@GalacticSeal Could you link to that mod?
GalacticSeal 12. mar. kl. 20:52
Getting issue with Eltex Mask from Vanilla Psycasters Expanded, where it will try and recycle the item but fail repeatedly in an infinite loop. Perhaps there is a compatibility issue between the two mods?
Jeffigy 24. feb. kl. 14:58
mlie you fucking rock. just want you to know you are very very loved
swaggy 20. feb. kl. 8:20
would it be possible to allow recycling on gas powered smelters from helixen gas expanded?
Koskyo 17. feb. kl. 11:05
@Mlie All good now =) thx
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. kl. 11:29
@Koskyo Should work better now
Koskyo 16. feb. kl. 0:55
hey (form weapon and apparel Aya mod) i don't have the option for recycled manually apparel now, i only can destroy option.
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 17. jan. kl. 10:07
@fyodord I dont say anything, this is a reuploaded mod. But I assume they meant that they use the vanilla calculation on resources returned
The Bard of Hearts 17. jan. kl. 9:01
@fyodord
Howdy. I think it just means that it bounces off of vanilla values. Usually you get about 20% of the material that went into it for the "Stuff" portion. Its not a lot, not enough to be game breaking by any means. As for changing the values, I don't think so, though I could be wrong.
fyodord 17. jan. kl. 8:55
You say that recycling is using vanilla values but is it really vanilla? I don't think there's canonical value to what recycling should give? How does the value compare to Mend and Recycle and can it be changed?
Dümbük Enişte 24. dec. 2024 kl. 6:03
I don't know how you did it but adding that resolved my issue too lol.
Kimo' 20. dec. 2024 kl. 12:11
Absolute legend, you're the best Mlie!
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2024 kl. 11:54
@Kimo' Added support for it now
Dümbük Enişte 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:32
Okay, I'll test a bit. Thanks for the update!
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:29
@Dümbük Enişte The update did not change the advanced fabricors or the smelting jobs. Please verify with only those two mods loaded to rule out any other mod-conflict first.
Dümbük Enişte 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:26
No, but they were able to smelt before and Recycle This is the only recently updated mod in my list (updated with mech stuff, that is) Strangely, they are able to all the other stuff tho. Recycling with VRE, biorefining, crafting components etc.
Kimo' 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:25
@Mlie sorry for asking again, but while you're at it, may I ask to add recycle jobs to Advanced Fabricor please? :ac6_heart:
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:23
@Dümbük Enişte And this is with only those two mods loaded?
Mlie  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2024 kl. 7:11
@Dümbük Enişte Could you link to that mod?
