guys imo, pro tip if u want to use calamity with this even if u suck at building, use like cheatsheet or herosmod to build artifical biomes of them, maybe even try to fit it into the calamity feel?

@RDFalcon8592 special effects from secret seeds may work, such as the hunger effect from the don't starve seed, but the worldgen is not altered to accomodate for secret seeds. For example, if you do for the worthy, the worldgen will be no different.

Opening pre-mod worlds changes their surface & cavern levels (which breaks some pylons & dungeon spawning), can the mod avoid doing this for non-Skyblock worlds?

Needing to remember to disable the mod every time before opening those worlds is getting old.

@Moo Moo I'm having problems with the NPCs, the merchant and the nurse appear and no one else appears, I tried everything but only these appear, could it be a bug or something different in this mod?

Then you can rule out netcode and blame either your placement, genpass, or some other code you're using to affect the break or drop code for tiles

@Freedbot Interestingly the issue only happens in singleplayer. When using host and play, hearts & orbs drop stuff, but in singleplayer they don't....

@marcostadeusc yeah shadow orbs and hearts are really broken, they've been this way for over a year now and it's driving me crazy. Your best bet is to just use cheat sheet or something to get the items :/

I just broke 4 shadow orbs, got now messages on chat about boss incoming, as well as no drops. I did in a large world, master, corruption @Moo Moo

@Centz Interesting. The chests use specified loot pools, so I'll have to go and redo them. As for the golden chests, I'm sure I can increase the chance for that.

When in doubt, enable cheatsheet, start a Host & Play, generate a new journeymode skyblock world from that menu, and do your testing that way. As long as the multiplayer bugs don't involve what happens to a different player when one does something, then the bugs should surface. The worldpass jank bugs I found went away if the world got opened in singleplayer, so this is the best way to test. There's almost no difference between joining a dedicated server and just clicking host & play.

After exploring the dungeon I haven't found a single "Water Bolt" or "Muramasa". Am I just unlucky?

Hey Moo Moo, I've found another "bug" for you.

In the dungeon sub-dimension, for some odd reason the brown chests (Not locked) ones tend to have a few too many arrows, I got 3100 from a single chest which is pretty crazy.

Another thing about the dungeon, it seems that golden chests spawn VERY rarely, after exploring almost the entire dungeon I could only find 6-10 golden chests, pretty crazy considering how massive the dungeons are.

To paraphrase, Brown Chests give too many arrows, Golden chests almost never spawn.

It could be a genpass issue, but I'd hope if that's the problem that it would be part of the finalizing steps I added back manually to fix the deleted multiplayer item drops. I'm not going to learn more worldgen just to add a heart crystal to the world to test.

Hmm, I assume it's heart crystals generated on the islands that aren't/weren't dropping anything? If so I have no idea what's going on there, but I do remember when changing tile break code in Skyblock Brutalism for gnomes that it was really messed up. I was able to work around singleplayer simply enough, but multiplayer took me several days to fix.
Basically, the KillTile method simply doesn't work properly for item drops from tiles larger than 1x1. Instead, I do netcode gymnastics to send a custom packet that's checked in CanDrop, where I disable drops and manually drop just the custom item I need. That doesn't address the actual cause of the problem for you, but it would fix it as far as the player cares.

@Centz it's because somehow life crystals are crazy broken, and they weren't dropping anything. I had to apply a really bad fix to them where it drops the item manually, and it tends to drop multiple

Found a really fun bug, if you break a life crystal you just get 2 for some reason, and if you break the top left of the life crystal you can get up to 4 life crystals from a single one, I don't know if it's the mod or some other mod I have on breaking it. But hey, it's free health,

I was wondering when you unlock trading in strange plants at the dye trader for special dyes. Is it only after a certain boss? Do I need to enter hard mode? Is it available at all? Just wondering. I really want my metallic gold dye.

I just found and patched the multi-player bug where thrown player items were getting deleted in Skyblock Brutalism. I've shared my fix with Moo Moo. It's really stupid, so I expect every skyblock mod has this same bug. Share the bug and fix news around to the other skyblock authors.

Could you fix the sand, stone, and snow bombs a bit? They all have extended explosion times compared to regular or even dirt bombs, and they require a workbench to be crafted rather than requiring nothing like the dirt bomb.
Also, it'd be nice if you could craft the sticky variants with sticky bombs, just like how you can craft a sticky dirt bomb with a sticky bomb and dirt.

Because it's not a world, it's a mod. The world's are fully generated using code and are not preset maps.

Maybe. I eventually did have a single jungle spore spawn on the extensions that I'd made, but it took getting to day 60 for one of them to spawn. Maybe I should have gone more than 160 blocks long and made them a couple hundred blocks long. Would have taken an extremely long time for all that jungle grass to grow, but by day 60 I may have had more than 18 total.
