Also I might’ve accidentally deleted the last comment sorry.
How is it that Neurotrauma is working for you after the latest game update? I keep getting Lualess affliction when enabling this mod.
Thank you! Just tried that out and it worked perfectly. I often forget the tourniquet exists. My crew always have on heavy armor (they use some armor mod I don't know the name of) so I've never come across the issue in actual gameplay, but now I feel better knowing I know how to fix it if happens.
Thanks again!
From my understanding, you are trying to turn the traumatic amputation to a surgical amputation by how your issue sounds. This will not do anything and is usually just performed because you can reattach the limb before applying sutures while still performing surgery or because the patient's limb has reached 15% gangrene and needs to be amputated. The way I usually treat traumatic amputation is by first applying a tourniquet to stop the arterial bleeding and then starting the surgery. Then, I can use both the saw and the drill. Finally, the arm can be reattached and osteosynthesis implants are used to repair the fracture. This is usually always the method I use because a traumatic amputation always has to have a fracture to be caused in the first place and the amputation itself will cause arterial bleeding. Other issues that require surgery can also be resolved as long as you don't finish the surgery with sutures to fix multiple things with the least amount of time.
u gotta use opium or morphine or smth like that before starting the operation, that could be why it doesnt work
prop bc u got other afflictions when u got hit you havent checked for
It's wierd that pain happens only if bones broken or other rare cases. Maybe traumas should add that affliction? Pain could damage heart or maybe make your heart's BPM rise or make you slowdown or add debuff to skills depending on 0-100% of uhh..pain?
In any case, it is just an idea that maybe not needed in the mod.
Ice pack, natural regen and bandaged are considered as special treatments and won’t regenerate wounds that are severe enough
love your mod. hope to see a neuro patch for it.
Some NT medical items work with the Syringe Shotgun from EHA:FF (i.e mannitol, iirc), but overwritten medical items don't (i.e morphine).
Is this something that could be accounted for *without* a patch, or would someone have to make a patch for this.
Asking out of curiosity more than anything else.
I will add my own take on surgery plus on a later date
No one else was talking bout it in written guides so thought I'd leave this comment, lol.
