The weapon itself releases particles from the buff, and the projectiles release these particles on enemies (especially on worm bosses) these particles are displayed as burning. Is there any way to fix this so that it doesn't freeze so much? In such battles, the FPS drops to 5-10 frames, although the average FPS is around 100

I suspect that any buffs for weapons with projectiles that add visual effects to these projectiles cause freezes and stutters when they are actively used.

Using the EntropicClaymore sword in conjunction with vials causes freezes and low FPS in the game against worm battles. Is it possible to optimize the projectiles in this mod?

idk if this is an issue in the newest Calamity Overhaul mod update(Sep 8) or some other mod i have enabled. Rn i got to mechanical fights and now i have skeletron prime as the last mech boss. When i try to summon him, he comes in as usual(with twins accompanying him), but as the fight is about to begin, skeletron prime disappears and the boss fight ends like that. I dont know if this is related to Calamity overhaul side or maybe it is conflicting with some other qol mod i have updated recently.(i am wondering about this, cuz like a couple weeks ago i did another playthrough of the mod(with wrath of the gods), and everything was fine). If anyone can help, would appreciate it. Cuz rn, im stuck at this point of the game.

Since some players have been asking, I’d like to clarify this matter:
Back in March of this year, players discovered that Throwing Spear For Calamity Mod (hereafter referred to as TSFC) contained malicious code. This code would cause the game to crash without the player’s knowledge when loaded together with the Overhaul Mod.
This incident caused a huge uproar in the Chinese modding community at the time, with many players condemning TSFC for including such malicious behavior.
Here is the post I made publicly denouncing the issue at the time:

A few hours later on the same day, the main creator of TSFC acknowledged the issue and issued an apology:

At present, the malicious code in TSFC has been removed, and the creator has promised not to repeat such actions. You can now combine it with other mods and play without worry.

Anyone struggling with the Sep 8 update of the Overhaul mod for Calamity(it fails to load and gets disabled afterwards. ERROR message). Go manually update InnoVault in the mod downloader tab (should be available to be updated(was updated together with overhaul i suppose).

Then go back to your mod list, enable Calamity Overhaul, and it should load like normally. That atleast worked for me.

the goblins shoot arrows that disappear very quickly but their AI doesn't account for this so the archers just kinda do nothing

Can you add a linkage between overhaul and magic storage, so that items can be synthesized in magic storage, a new mod or an option integrated in overhaul is fine!!!

released a small patch~ to ensure compatibility, I removed the 9999 coin stack limit setting. Users who need it can enable the Max Stack Plus Extra Mod themselves. In addition, to completely resolve the issue of collectors filling up chest slots too easily with coins, collectors will now automatically consolidate and organize coins in the chest when depositing them

i test it, and coins with the 9999 stack limit can be automatically stacked. This happens whether you use the 'quick stack to nearby chests' feature or when you pick them up, and they will automatically convert to higher-tier coins when you have enough. This change was made because someone complained to me that collectors would pick up coins, and since the previous stack limit was only 100, it would fill up chests very easily.

I have an issue where coins aren't combining in my inventory so my inventory just ends up being full of stacks of 9999 copper coins, I have made absolute sure it was this mod before posting this, I ran every single one of my mods without overhaul and the coins worked fine, but when I ran overhaul all by itself (with calamity obviously), the coin bug still happened.
hi, i ran into the issue where if i use minishark in multiplayer and im not the host it doesnt reload, but it works perfectly fine if the host uses it. i dunno if you're aware of it but if you're not it would be nice if you fix it

ok so I figured out that wrath of the gods currently doesn't work with the overhaul mod side by side

noxus boss isnt working its like the mod have been removed or some thing like that, the items are there but it has the square text on them, including npc and blocks

ok wait so I think if ur using infernum u should not put on biology overhaul on cuz then it messes with infernum mod cuz of files conflicting with one another. if ur using infernum mod just disable that option and ur good.

Ok so it seems that the corruption/crashing of my world over and over again didn’t happen but I think maybe it happened last time due to the fact I was using infernum which changes the biology of the abyss/sulfurous sea and overhaul also does that with the biology rework so I’m assuming that infernum bugs out with overhaul so I’ll have to use regular master death for now. Tho I wonder if it works fine with calamity fargos dlc.

I think I should clarify the proper way to report bugs:
Conflicts between multiple large mods are constantly emerging, and it's very common to spend a long time communicating with a player only to find out that the issue was actually caused by a different mod altogether. This is also one of the reasons why some developers dislike multi-mod setups.
That said, I've tried to maintain a positive attitude—I’m always willing to test and discuss any issues reported to me. However, there are always people who provide only vague descriptions and expect me to imagine the problem, which may not even exist in the first place.
If you want to firmly claim that the mod contains a serious bug, that’s fine—but you must provide a clear and reproducible method to back up your claim. Otherwise, this kind of behavior is something no mod developer appreciates.

this kind of issue is usually caused by an error in the player's core data, which leads to the game freezing. In such cases, the game log should contain information about the error. If possible, please reproduce the issue you described and then send me the game log located at:
`steamapps\common\tModLoader\tModLoader-Logs\client.log`.
You can share it via Google Drive (I recommend starting a separate discussion thread in the mod's comment section). This will help the developers diagnose the source of the problem more effectively.

.......all data saving operations in the mod are protected with try-catch blocks. I really appreciate you taking the time to report this issue, but please try to provide as much information as possible and make sure the issue you're reporting is indeed caused by this mod. As of now, COMod has not made any changes related to the Abyss. Providing more detailed information can help the developer better identify the problem, rather than making a judgment based on a few vague lines about an issue that cannot be reproduced.

I'm having very hard troubles on how the mod makes my character freeze in place and my UI glitch out. cant even pause the game, I have to close the game completely. I've tried to see if there was any mods having compatibility, but the problem still persists. I need real help. I really want to play this

Your mod made my world get corrupted when I accidentally broke some kelp in the abyss that was moving is this bug fixed yet or no. Also make sure that this mod doesn't corrupt files of players games cuz like that's a BIG ISSUE.

i apologize in advance for this but is there some way i can go back to the original spritework for the mechanical trio? not that the reworked art isn't awesome, i just prefer the original spritework instead.
