mod just breaks if you have puppets. For some reason it doesnt prioritize trading with them, and also just trades way too much. I had to micro the trade screen every few weeks as UK to cancel all the extra trades

This spams trades that get auto cancelled when you have no civ factories
It'd be nice if you could turn the mod off in game for when that happens

Hey there, was curious on the current Track towards an update. I was interested in incorporating Auto Trading into a different mod, and was interested in wondering if I had permission to use your code, with credit.

Additionally, I wasn't sure how much was coming in the next update and wanted to know if there was a general timeline for when you planned the next update.

Hace falta una versión que permita vender equipo (equipo de infantería, artillería, aviones, tanques, etc) automáticamente cuando se queden obsoletos y que venda ese equipo automáticamente en el mercado internacional

Alright, thanks for the reply, sounds great for the future! I am all for automating the game as more things to be managed are added as the DLC:s keep rolling in

To your second point (trading with future enemies):
Yes, the algo determines trading partners, prioritizing the ones with the highest amount of said resource and best relations. In future updates there will be a 3-slot priority-queue for every resource where you can set the first three trading partners yourself.

Again with this mod not yet complete, feel free to report bugs immediately :)

Thank you for your feedback!
Yes, i got convinced, that a daily update of trade is a bit too much, so i will change that to a weekly one in the next update.

To your first point (buggy trade behavior):
There is still a bug that will make the game want to import the maximum amount needed for every country. I still havent found out why but I am on it. There are no real tools in forms of triggers and effects for modding regarding trade so I have to do the logic all by myself. With this being my very first mod, i need to test some trade issues over and over again.
I'd be glad if you could send me your japan save, so I have another debug scenario, which when it comes to trade is always highly situational.

Two huge takes after using it. The fact that it instantly attempts to trade after deficit is noticed, is absolutely awful. I started to prep collaboration government which sucked all my civs for 35 days. After it got done, i had gotten so many trade was modified alerts, as it constantly tried to trade resources, that clearing them took over 5 minutes of holding enter down. And my pc isnt even laggy and they went fast.

2nd, oil. With this enabled, finding yourself in fuel deficit mid war is death sentence, as what ever you start trading for, the mod automatically cancels your trade as the oil does not go to negative unlike the fuel, so it doesn't understand to trade for it.

Also this likely determines the trade partners from the trade relations mechanic, so it feels kind of bad as a japan to trade with british malaya when you know that they will be against you eventually.

That loop will only get executed once a non-ai country has a resource deficit, which is not that common in the game, but i get your point. I also improved some parts of the code but its still WIP

holy shit dude i think executing that loop daily is way too much
