How do I encounter modded planets in survival?

Does anyone know what to set the Orbit Radius to if you followed the correct size, and you are using the 'real solar system' mod?

@Dauthiatull i see that's why i miss understood i am not getting that issue, when i spawn in my pod or the vanilla pod i always parachute in so i am not sure why that is happening for you.

I did spawn in the rover but on vanillia planets it spawns in the air and parachutes to the ground. Im refering to the fact on modded planets the rover spaws on the ground. the fall from space was a good way to see whats around you as you .land

@Dauthiatull I am able to spawn in pods in my game for this planet.
Check that you are in survival mode in game but also now players spawn in rovers on planets now and puts your rover in the water most of the time so using a spawn pod mod is a good idea, i use my own https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3034634539 so i can spawn in a ship but i have noticed a bug with water mod planets when in a ship pod after spawning in where when you try flying the ship it just wants to tilt up all the time but when used on non water mod planet works fine so i don't know whats up with that. i see a spawn pod mod a while back that droped players in a raft for water mod planets but don't know if that one still works.

also I found that when you spawn in you start already on the ground not in the air like the vanillia planets. can that be fixed?

thanks for the update. and for anyone new to this mod. don't start building on the beach until you see how high the tide goes. went out to mine some stone and came back to find my starter platform under water LOL

All good. Decided to just go ahead and start it. Seems it got updated right beforehand. I was driving along and saw some berries and was like "oh, guess it got updated."

@Grand_Admiral_Corgi sorry not sure i follow your question, at the moment i am working on the planet now and have forageable food planets working but i am right now making some other changes to the weather and a few other things i hope to have an update soon for this planet just finding as much time as i can to look at everything.

Okay, thanks for the info. I have to say probably one of my favorite planet mods. I take it since new games weren't required for the Apex Survival Update this wouldn't require it either?

Can confirm Chimera spawns with moon textures and no plantlife, unsure if load order specific or just game updates breaking mods

The planet seems to only be made of stone when I load in the world. No sand or grass.

Reloaded the world and flew around a bit more and found some ore.

I think this would work great as a replacer for EarthLike and the Moon. Question though, how is the ore distribution. I flew around for a little bit with a 200m ore detector and found nothing. Also, would this work with MES?

Excellent planet. After trying out a dozen 'earth-like' workshop planets, this stood out to me as the best vanilla earth-like replacement.
Cool features: Detailed & deep ocean floor, winding rivers slicing through the continent, abundance of high altitude terrain, overall high level of detail.
Only downside is the relatively basic appearance from space (but still significantly better than vanilla.) The lack of desert terrain is also not a downside as it gives Pertam more relevance in my solar system. :steamthumbsup:

To follow up on that, it's too bad that the water mod doesn't have like an option to enable subnautica-esque predators to hunt you in the deep sea

Love the deep sea noises, certainly an excellent touch to any habitable water mod planet! I had this dead planet in development years ago that I added deep sea noises to as like creepy wind sounds but for some reason they just ended up being pretty low quality and highly grating on the ears. The person who did the sounds for me said that converting them to the format for SE caused the distortion and what not.
