(coolcat if your still around just disreguard this) TM This world is actually old and will not be able to be loaded in due to the verison of the game and file format.

You should update this. I tried to load it and it is corrupted. I think this is an awesome build.

I honestly don't remember. This is a rather old build. If you open the edit settings to view the mod list I'm sure you'll be able to find it. It's either the "Advanced Gyro" or "250+ Gyro", maybe both.
Testkill 25. maj 2015 kl. 3:22
Are it the cubed gyros? if not could you link them please?
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2015 kl. 14:11
Testkill I used modded gyros. Since the vanilla game only takes place 55 years from now. Modded and more advanced blocks and tech are needed to reach the 200 years further. A time this ship would come from.
Testkill 24. maj 2015 kl. 13:02
how did you avoid using them? and making your ship flyable with a decent fps?
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 24. maj 2015 kl. 7:05
Yeah I've noticed the same thing with Gyros Testkill. I don't know if it's a poly-count thing or what.

i was making a very big emissary class ship with full interiors after i started putting gyroscopes my game came to 10 fps :p

Hey Helratz, just saw your post on my workshop submission. Wanted to say that a 1:5 scale small trek ship production is something I'd love to see, and I'm glad you're working on it. Cheers!

Awesome! Thank you Helratz. There's a good amount of us Melon_Man_Dan.
Melon_Man_Dan 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:53
Man, I wish that Space Engineers was filled with more Trekkies like you and I.
Melon_Man_Dan 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:45
That'd be one fast ship. "You want fast? Forget a sacuer with two nacelles, we'll just give you A nacelle!"
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:33
MMDan- Most Federation ships of this stlye are capable of a saucer separation. Some could even eject the nacelles if needed. They're all modular to a point. That's why they have similar features between ship models.

Melon_Man_Dan 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:02
It was just never mentioned. How do you know then?
Melon_Man_Dan 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:01
I was not aware of that. Thank you, now my Trekkieness is even greater!
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2014 kl. 17:00
Melon_Man_Dan the original was equipt with that system as an emergency lifeboat system, able to separate once. The TNG ship was able to separate and reconnect.
Melon_Man_Dan 30. nov. 2014 kl. 16:55
I do not remember a Saucer Seperation with the Enterprise refit and 1701-A. That was only featured in Star Trek TNG and Star Trek Generations.

Thanks Jon, this is an older build. My personal version uses the turrets from ShaoCorp. Painted red they make perfect phaser pods. Combined with another mod "lasers and nukes" the gats become phaser like. know there are some other great phaser mods, but they're "fixed". I'm waiting for a turret type. Plus I want to take another pass using the armored ramps to smooth things out. However first I need to finish Serenity.

phasers add them i took this added them and it makes a world of diffrence regards jonathan

No worries Belaaron.
Belaaron 28. nov. 2014 kl. 18:21
Didn't see that. Apologies. Good work.
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 28. nov. 2014 kl. 18:03
Thanks Belaaron. This build was before that mod was around, and I stated already below that I may still do that but not until I have finished my current project.
Belaaron 28. nov. 2014 kl. 17:36
If you want to save interior space and round out the exterior a little more smoothly, try UncleSte's armor plates mod.
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 28. nov. 2014 kl. 16:46
gamer12071- too many to list. Look in edit settings.
qernsweep 28. nov. 2014 kl. 11:12
Mods?
Dempsey 26. nov. 2014 kl. 18:10
awesome
Helratz  [ophavsmand] 26. nov. 2014 kl. 9:50
Harold & hunted, thank you! Been thinking about taking another pass at this ship with UncleSte's armored ramps to smooth out the edges better. Plus I know one of the mods I used when I first built this a while back broke between updates so all the conveyors need to be repaired, but it will have to wait for now. I need to finish my Firefly first.

Thanks Viff (fr)! I tried doing a fully modded version with multiple decks, but it became too laggy.
Viff 25. nov. 2014 kl. 11:26

If you're on the Bridge an easy access button for "Red Alert!" is located right of helm in the center. It's the far left button #1. Buttons are also located in the neck next to a connector block for easy saucer seporation. Just press 1-3 from left to right. Buttons in Engineering next to the core: button 1-on/off, buttons 2&3 adjust the pulsing speed. Turbolifts in saucer have a button on each deck in the shaft for "UP" execpt the Bridge which has a sensor to turn off automaticlly once on the Bridge. You'll know when up is on as you can see the blue lights on.
